NAMILYANGO ROCKS AS PUPILS ARE INSPIRED FOR EXCELLENCE

As most Ugandans celebrated heroes day with the main activities in Luweero district, several schools used the occasion in varying ways.
Our reporter was in Namilyango in Mukono district
The heroes celebrated here were the school itself for producing prominent Ugandans but with a special gratitude to the teachers that are the true heroes of humanity.
The competition between the four houses Impala, Thereza, Nile and Africa was in all genres of music, dance and drama with the actors eloquent and enticing as if to denote that herein lays their future.
The theme was a girl child is a priority for a better tomorrow and its where most performances dwelt.

At Uganda martyrs junior boys school Namilyango, heroes day celebrations started with a church service by Father Paul Nsubuga.
Our first stop in the Namilyango locality has been at St. Thereza Namilyango girl’s school where the school focused on making more heroes via implementation of the new education curriculum that emphasizes extra-curricular activities like music dance and drama.
