i think its because they had more time to produce the song and to train more!! they didnt get to train all together that much since it was for the debut show and was announced almost immediately after they did the auditions so they didnt have time but its been a while since debut so they had more time to grow and produce a better song, they all improved really well even with dancing same for z girls im so proud ;-;

Don't wanna to be a hater because I really like the whole idea of Z-pop and stuff, but their lyrics are really bad and don't really have a deeper meaning, same goes for the melody. It's just bad and if they're going to be like that, they won't achieve much. They sound like some underground kpop stars with 2k views. I really hope that they'll become better at what they are doing and that's why I still watch their MVs. They still have a long way to go, but no one says they can't improve.
