For some behind-the-scenes, I was responsible for the damage photos apart from a few. Afterwards, I categorized each individual building based on the Degrees of Damage for the official Enhanced Fujita Scale that is used for real tornadoes. We then plotted the triangles where each building was located. If a triangle is labeled with an "S" it indicates that the building was slabbed. We calculated the cost of buildings based on average prices after measuring the square footage of most buildings. I was also responsible for creating the EAS Tornado Warning broadcast messages which I used real life examples for reference ranging from a standard Tornado Warning, to a PDS Tornado Warning, then to a Tornado Emergency Warning.
3:58 This is terrifying as the broadcast about damage expected in Hiram is being followed by the tornado destroying it, rated EF-4 at the same time. Those people likely had almost no warning, if you were outside looking at it, you’d know, but that’s it.
This was an even better severe tornado recap than the first one. I love that, besides showing the path where the tornado traveled and clips from some of you who chased it, you also included the EAS warning as well as commentary about the genesis, life, stats and then aftermath of this extremely dangerous tornado. Very cool and very eerie. Frankly the only thing that would've made it even better is if you included the footage of when you got picked up in TIV 2, just to drive home how powerful this tornado was. I did my first couple of chases in Twisted for the first time in a while yesterday (got my mouse fixed so I've been absent from Roblox for a while) and it was all in all a pretty busy day. Wasn't anywhere near as insane as this though.
This was a really good analysis! I love how realistic you made it and I think the fake warnings are also a great detail that was added. I’d love to see more tornado analyses like this and the previous one! Good job 👍 👍
Cool anyways here’s how to make tornado 1 go to Antarctica 2 grab cold air and keep it in there 3 fly to equator 4 get hot air (also seal up) 5 go to Oklahoma 6 dump both air out 7 start spinning at 3.2 mph 8 wait 3 minutes for mixing 9 there’s your tornado 10 watch destruction
As a member of the Twisted community I love seeing things like this I’m glad I got into weather and tornadoes so I could become the Local Weather Enjoyer.
This reminds me of those a tornado sink videos especially the Phil Campbell one you need to make way more of these because these are really good videos and I really enjoy these and you take them to the next level of serious which I love
I need to ask a serious question. Are the EAS tones in this video valid? I need to know so somebody doesn’t use this audio to illegally activate weather radios, and get accused of violation of the FCC.
