Great vlog. Fellow migraine sufferer...I feel you. Mindy if you have quality pieces of furniture that you find hard to part with, they can always be painted white, either professionally or do it yourself. It really updates and you can add modern handles to drawers and doors to tie them all in. Just a suggestion. I did it with all my wooden furniture. I wanted to brighten and modernise and even tho I was loathe to paint beautiful woodwork I am really happy with the results and don't regret it. Saved a lot of money also. 😉

I did the basket for the blankets in my living room, and I love it!!! I got mine from Marshals! Also I love all the extra hangers when I go through my clothes, and purge. 😊
You should wear your hair down when you have a migraine maybe that will relieve some of the pain it does for me

It’s always fun to redecorate and organize. I always use the rule that less looks the best. Also, for a change you can remove the greens above the tv area and put some funky baskets up there. 😊
Love declutter videos, so satisfying to watch. I’m currently going thru all my pants and it’s so nice to see a huge pile to donate and free space in my drawers. Loved the basket and blanket idea. I wish I had room to do something similar but as of now all my blankets are in one of those zippered clear bags.

We live by the beach in Florida....we have a beach theme in our home. Simple and confortable for us.
We too make our bed "around" the cats😀
We feed our cats grain free too...
Just piece of advice , been a migrainer 20+ years, please watch out on sugar free products it is a big trigger for a lot of ppl and sugar free products is very bad for acne pron skin! ! ( worked for a dermatologist for years) it comes out thru pores! Love your videos girl keep them up!!!!!

I think I would paint all the oak wood stuff white and add new handles/knobs it will look a lot more updated. I bought a set of older bookshelves with cabinets in the bottom and I covered all the flowery wood engraving in drytex then painted it with grey chalk paint (saw it in fixer upper) and I added some new hardware from Home Depot and it looks absolutely brand new and beautiful. I totally think you can do the same with mosh of that stuff and if you don’t like it you can always sell it. Good luck

You know what you could do...distress finish/ chalk paint your grandmas wood furniture. That’s quality furniture and it would modernize it and you get to keep the sentimental value ☺️

But my heart literally hurts and breaks for you having to explain your furniture. You know what I gist thought when I saw your house and furniture. “Wow this house is so cozy I would love to live there” I am now trying to get my house cosy and warm like yours. I love calicos. My son and I volunteer at our local SPCA as “Kitty Kuddlers”. We get to go in and love on the cats and kittens. It really helps with their socialization. I just love it!

I think the wood furniture in your home is beautiful! I think if you were to paint it all white and changed out the hardware you could have a very stylish piece!
I’ve found that painting furniture pieces completely transforms them especially real wood furniture, you could save tons! ☺️

I felt the same way yesterday about my furniture and my home decor. I just had to move everything around. I even re-organized our movie collection. I eventually want to change out the curtains in the living room. I think the basket with blankets is a great Idea. I think I am going to do a basket like that too. If you dont end up putting a plant on the table behind the sofa you can do a table with just photos. Just a idea Love you guys great vlog like always. ♡♡♡

I also repainted my room back to white and it took 3 coats and it could use another. 200 dollars later haha I never knew white was so expensive. Great video!

Your golden corner shelf under the tv in your kitchen you should look at spray painting it a stone look. Its amazing all diff kinds of the spray paints out there. Also you could also paint those tables in your living area your getting rid of. Like do an antique country white wash. Just some ideas? ☺

I totally get the struggle of cleaning the closet! I recently got three garbage bags of clothes (yikes) and took them to platoes closet (not sure if they have this in Florida, but they will give you a little cash for name brand stuff). I usually take my clothes there and whatever they don’t take, I donate! Hope you’re feeling better after your migraine!

If you could find someone to paint those furniture pieces white for you, it would make a huge difference. Or if you want to paint them, just get some paint that already has primer mixed in. Then some simple greenery on it and it’ll give that minimalistic look. I just had my dressers painted white and it made it look completely different, I love it. I do a lot of decorating and help others so if you ever have questions, I can help! Also, try tj maxx and Marshall’s/Homegoods for plants and baskets or target even has a nice fake fig leaf plant that is pretty reasonably priced!
