Please please please pleeeeaaase make a conquistador that does NOT have a buckle!!! You all make that assumtion! I am making a guitarstrap, there are no buckles and how the EFF do I do this???
You mentioned doing a belt with the Conquistador knotting at the beginning. (It looks like it would make a great belt!) Do you know how much correct cord you would need? I'm guess a lot, and maybe too much to actual work, but I may try anyway. The cobra makes the belt a bit thicker than I would like.
I would suggest making a square inch of this pattern and multiplying the cordage used. Weavers of Eternity has a couple of projects that use the conquistador like his wallet and mask videos.
The design is awesome but this must be the most boring bracelet to weave. One suggestion if I may: you speak to fast. English is not everybody native language...

This is just a quick estimate, but I think 100 ft. of paracord would yield about a 35" belt.

I would like to make a iPad sleeve using this weave. How would I calculate the amount of cord needed? I am going to use either 550 cord or micro cord.
