VW motorcycle - fitting the speedometer into the headlight.

Just when I thought this project was stalled, it turns out I was just busy with other stuff. In this episode we take the vintage Chinese CJ750 headlight, which itself is a copy of a BMW r71 headlight, and fit the yamaha rd350 speedometer into it so the VW powered 1968 BMW can actually tell how fast it is going. Also we install some LED idiot lights. Have to make progress somehow.

It will happen. I want to do a ride where I dip the back wheel in the Atlantic and the front wheel in the Pacific. Maybe next summer.
