You got the best showing of how to remove the old part by prying off the metal part using a flat head screw driver. Although I don't like the way you use metal to scrape the old rubber off, I learned a lot more on your video than any other video in You Tube.

This video was very helpful. Here are some additional tips.
1. Park the car in the sun for awhile before removing the old strip. The old adhesive came off pretty easily in the heat.
2. It was worth the extra time to clean the glass with as razor blade and the paint with detergent. You have to remove all the remnants of the old adhesive.
3. Getting the new strip on is Hard! Getting the metal channel on the glass is very difficult. On my last try (it took five tries), I put soapy water in the channel, got both the ends on first, and then worked it towards the middle. Finally, success.

Thanks for posting this video. Popping up the metal part from the end is good advise, just be sure to pry in direction toward the back of the car to be sure not to damage glass.
I used a 1" plastic putty knife instead of the 3" metal putty knife (aka spatula) Comment on another video suggested a rolling pin for the finishing touch to seal the adhesive.

Be super careful when prying the strip! I cracked my windshield by prying badly with a small flathead screwdriver.

ive been told in many places it is impossible to change this weather strip... they say its installed at the same time as windshield is ... but ive seen here on youtube a guy do a perfect job of fitting new one in without any issues so they lie!
