Lou, I know a guy that special ordered a 70 LS6 Chevelle conv! I couldn't imagine they made to many of them. He traded it in on a family car a few years after owning it sadly.
I had a L78 car back in the time and actually had it in the Cleveland indoor World of Wheels in 1978. I still have the trophy for 3rd place in class and since it was a driven car I was actually pretty happy with that. My question is and this comes from restoring a 64 vette to a Bloomington silver car, how can you be a 100 point with factory incorrect material for the exhaust?
Hi J Jack, Sounds like you have some cool cars :-) I'm not sure how Judging works at the shows. I see them, I video the ones I like, and I hope Viewers like you like them too. Lou
Great video, this one of a Camaro with the rare COPO L78 "Rat" motor, the motor was used for racing, but very few cars came that way. I sure would love to go to this car show, but your video's will have to do for now. Thanks Lou.

Closer to $4500 I found the original owner who had the window sticker from a friend's Lemans Blue White top 69 RS/SS L78 conv 4 spd 3.73, HD cooling, am/fm stero, dlx int, gauges, power top, remote mirror, endura, power windows, and vigilight -fiber optic light monitoring it was just shy of $5k in May of 1969... he sold it 6 months ago for $300,000
Wow, what a car! It’s too bad that they weren’t anywhere near this nice when I was old enough and had enough money to buy a used one in the ‘70’s.
Hi Dave, Happy to receive a "Wow" from you about this car :-) Lou
Man I feel like going to completely redo my Camaro after looking at this 😪
Nice :-)
Dusk blue is a gorgeous color for 69 Camaros & Chevelles
Happy to read you enjoy the paint on this car :-)
Perfect restoration on this car! Sharp!
Agreed Joseph, and amazing showroom new car.
Great job! 👍 beautiful car!
Hi Mark Gross, Happy to read you appreciate the restoration and looks of this car :-) Lou
The brake pad trim needs to be under the disc Brahe emblem…it is a very nice car
Thanks for sharing. Happy to read you appreciate this "very nice car" Pop’s Garage.
Just wondering why the rad. Support has a A/C rad support. Missing the rubber seal?
Hmmm, not sure. Maybe a Viewer with knowledge can share.
I don’t know about the “ only 16 L-78 RS-SS convertibles built “ part 🤔
Thank you for viewing and sharing your thought.

Hi William Scott, I hope you make it to this show one year. It will be worth the trip. Lou
Lou, if you gotta tell somebody to shake your hand... the moment is lost. Better to just move on.

Glad you like this one :-) Lou
This must to have been an expensive order from the dealer back in the day. Probably close to $4k.
Closer to $4500
