Me and a few mates drove up there from Newport in the late 80s on one of those big winter swells...I've had a number of surfs in life that could best be described as "fckn hectic"...that was one of them Vague recollection the little right is dunnybowl

Used to surf Banzai with hardly anyone in the 70's..... the lefts and rights have always produced! Chris at the bakery came from the western subs of Sydney, he used to come up and surf the inside left at the northern end of the beach.... my grandparents used to live on the Entrance road across from the old sandhills..... golden era.....
