Wish this guy’s company was still around. What he did was revolutionary.
Koko the clown doesn’t get enough recognition. Man Fleischer Studios, breaking the 4th wall since 1918.
That piano piece never had an ending it just stopped.
I'm 69 years old..this cartoon remind me when I was young...Fleisher he is very talented.
Ink well, Koko the clown, Betty Boop and of curse Felix the cat and by the way, 1956 my father bough a T.V.
The thing I like about these cartoons is even though it may age wise be old it's timeless that I believe a kid then in the theatre or a kid on UA-cam today can get a kick out of it
I'm watching Undone and was wondering about the animation only to learn that they use rotoscoping to create it. Came here to pay my respect to the man who invented it. Bravo!
¡1923! Uau! Yo lo miraba en 1982, lo pasaban las mañanas por Telecentro Guayaquil, cuántos bonitos recuerdos de la niñez, gracias por subirla.
Hehe, these cartoons sure are quirky and fun! Pretty innovative stuff too...
Yeah, considering that this was the first cartoon to be "rotoscopic"
I’m watching this 96 years later
Poor Koko.
I find it that Mr. Fleischer was pretty inspired by Winsor McCay.
Neat Stuff!
I look him up, apparently Max was in his cast for an animation called "Gertie the Dinosaur".
Certainly, the giant Koko rampaging through the city does recall McCay's "The Pet"...
Wonderful. Thank you very much!
100-year old animation that's a delight to watch. The Fleischer Brothers achieved some the best animation shorts ever made: Koko the Clown, Betty Boop, and Popeye.
I would ask if Koko had the power to grow in size, why doesn't he just use it to fight the evil giant? But because of the double twist ending, all questions answered.
Amazing & innovative stuff!
Run Max! RUN! It's Koko Kong!
Koko is the only clown I genuinely like
I came here after watching a Game Theory. I liked it. Too bad he and Walt couldn't have found a way to co-exist.
People in 1918 sure did shrooms
Nailing Godzilla and Inception in one go.
These are so cool.
And suddenly why dindales thought he was being followed spiny Norman makes complete sense.
Came here for Cuphead. The sections of the game are called Inkwell Isle except for the last one, which is called “Finale”.
Not sure how I feel about drawing all five fingers. Five creeps me out.
It was cool seeing this. Without this there would be no drangonball Z
Saitama Saiyan Well, both this company and Disney were the pinochle of animation back in the day! :) they set the standard and made it known to the world that companies could thrive off of animation, so in a way, this comment makes sense.
And, this company (Fleischer Studios) was the first people to make animation, not disney.
fleisher was a genius 😊
3:39 first side-scrolling shooter?
This is a nice song w play on the piano anyone know what its called?
Why dosnt he just put ink on koko and redraw him later
Anyone else come here after LavanderTowne’s video lol
Squeezed - distorted for 16x9....should be 4x3.
I hate Disney for stealing things he did
I bet he was rotoscoping
I wish the fliechers won against walt Disney
con que de ahí salió esa canción :v
Tezuka are more fleisher than disney, just look the characters, disney before snow white dont have humans, only furrys
Plaback speed .25 2:46

I wonder if he thought people would still be watching this 95 years later.
