@@a.s.m.3246 Thanks for the info! I combed out a set of locs years ago but they were only a year old. Took a whole day and my hair was not in good shape afterwards.
My current set is almost 10 years old and waist length. I'm too low maintenance for loose hair, I'll just enjoy watching others do theirs.

@@kimmcfadden7679 I think she meant conquering the societal and internal byproducts of having natural hair, such as self esteem or not feeling feminine etc. Joy-el has talked about her feelings towards her hair and herself over the years she’s been natural so whatever confidence you see was achieved with work. Sherrina was complimenting her for trying to be natural despite the outside worlds pressures to alter what God gave her.

Joy-el: In practically all of the natural hair care videos I've seen most of you who are demonstrating various products are doing it alone: I've seen your sister assist you from time to time. Make no mistake "our" hair requires a lot of patience and attention which is why I see so many videos that are female-oriented: Dudes simply are not going to put in the time. However, I love the kinks and curls especially when there's a lot of them and I particularly like the way you look with your hair pilled up on top of your head which really complements your face! 😜👍 Let's see if that will bring a smile to your face if you feel so inclined.

Loved the video. Your hair looks fabulous and healthy Also enjoyed the asmr. One suggestion though it became so soothing i was 75 percent immersed and mellow even enjoying the sleepy feeling and 25 percent worried about when and if the music would come back to jar me out of my zone. It wasnt as loud coming back as i feared lol. But if you are ever in the mood to try something else closing the asmr video with text boxes like you did throughout and no talking or music outro would be pretty cool.

I love watching this! Your videos slap per usual❤ This is probably just a me thing and by all means take it with a grain of salt, but I try my best to not have jewelry on my fingers (like rings) in the process of running my fingers through my hair to avoid potential snagging and breakage.
Same. And to not get product all over it and in between the diamonds and different settings. To me it makes them look dull over time even when u wash it off.

It was on but I think the angle was off. And the video became really dark after exporting it from Adobe so I'll have to check out how to keep that from happening

Have you ever considered a silk press just to do a length check? It always fascinates me to see how long you natural sister's hair is with a silk press. Not to say your crown isn't beautiful just the way it is.
