so steel did pose for this picture just not all 3. i feel bad for them tbh. i wasn’t expecting them to get third at all. i definitely think there was some sort of miscommunication or misunderstanding bc large coed has always been known for having good sportsmanship. congrats to tglc though! i hope steel can come back next year and win!
and maybe i saw something wrong but it looks like steel was in the corner and they were going to go back on stage for the picture but it looks like the announcer told them something. and it also looks like they were congratulating tglc too
They can't even rally for the first place since they already had a AF deductions as for TGLC they really have a high raw score that dismount is not even inverted or flipped or land in prone position so it is debatable,it's just the flyer landed in a slope head adjacent below while lower body is adjacent above which is a safety precaution but still it was cradled with a back spot(the third person from the back)coach victor could really rally that deduction since there is a back spot when it dismounted like 3 bases cradle the flyer doing kick dubs so it's like having a basket bases required so I think maybe steel is upset cause the amount of time delayed and the raw score but they did forgot they have athlete fall that is obviously noticeable and to think TGLC almost hit and given their raw score difference when they hit day 1 says it all ,a whole 3 points!walking out wether intentional or unintentional misunderstanding is not the solution anyway these are kids coaches should have At least intervene to clear up things before walking out cause it reflects the team as a whole given the recent shady caption from a stingray athlete reflects How they react to losing.Anyway It doesn't changed the result!so be it,you could really sense sportsmanship in handling defeat and victory.
@@markkenranes5761 i meant miscommunication between athletes, coaches, and staff. steel athletes looked confused so i was wondering. tglc got the legality anyway and steel got a legality for a basket and if it weren’t for the legality they would’ve gotten 2nd. but I do agree that I feel like steel athletes or coaches should clear up why they walked off. and what shady caption are you talking abt? the only one I remember was when they said steel winning after they won cheersport. and plus I don’t think anything is really wrong with being shady bc I find it funny unless it’s like downright disrespectful.
So you mean to tell me they didn't know all three teams take a picture together? This must be their first time at worlds... No excuse. They are way too old to display poor sportsmanship.
@@scd4821 no. i’m 90% sure someone told them to walk off or smth. they looked like they were about to walk back on stage and they looked confused. i’m not trying to excuse their sportsmanship and i’m sorry if it seems that way, but it’s just odd to me because steel and large coed all together is known for having really good sportsmanship so it was just unusual and i felt like there was just more to the story 🤷♀️
Looks like stings DID pose for an official photo right before the announcer said “all three teams stay for a photo”
You could see a few Steel Rays lingering around, they wanted to stay for the picture! It would have been so funny if just 3 or 4 of them stayed lol
