I remember Empire Farm Days, I loved the 2 day auction they had every year at the end. Roy Teitsworth did the auctions. Was always a good time. The last year I went a kid got pinned under some logs at the sawmill exhibit. Sure hope he’s alright.
Hi Andy ! Thanks for the beautiful ride ! that freightshaker making many hearth to crack for his ride . Thanks Andy for your time and have a good day at the farm ! 🙋♂️
Andy thanks for the ride along, and the history behind the scenes. Great video as always. Keep the action and knowledge coming. Catchya at the next one. Stay safe!!
As a kid I rode. A Farmall combine hitched to a Farmall M. It had its own engine and no hopper. Instead it had an auger that pulled from an internal holding tank up to a station with a y in the auger tube that held two burlap bags, fill the first one switch to the second, tie off the first one, send it via a chute to the field, insert new bag, switch over etc, etc, etc. I’d start out with levies and a white T shirt. After an hour or so I was covered with black mold, chaff etc. great fun.
Andy hopefully they have the pete figured for ya. What ya need now is sitting on the floor so you can be looking through the steering wheel a bunch of chicken lights and chrome a reefer trailer with a load of swinging chickens and then you can go truck’n. Awesome video
I’m not sure how your dealer network is there for Eaton. But they will come out to you and tune your transmission the way you like it if it’s not shifting how you want it. Just load it down and take them on the roads you want it to shift differently on and they will adjust.
Surprise, the family doesn’t have a house on that lake! I think the family would love it! And you could probably have the farm pay for it write it off as employee entertainment.
I sat on a bench eating ice cream and watched the traffic and people go by in 2021 there by the lake. Interesting to watch the locals mix with the tourist.
At the end I saw the signs for 5 and 20. I recall my dad making reference to that. He grew up in Newark, so that road was close. Google map shows you were in Senaca Falls.
I don't think you could give me a manual transmission today. Especially for in field work. Just no upside. Torque multiplication, rev matched down shifts, higher torque capacity than even the largest manual transmissions. Super easy to rebuild in house (not that a manual is difficult). Up shifts keep the engine in power. I can put more drivers behind the wheel.
Andy when you started saying "This is kinda nice to have a free hand" I thought you where going to say I could hold a beer. Alas you played it safe with tge camera comments. I sense more automatics trucks on the horizon.
Friend ALWAYS ran the leaf blower over the Combine at the end of the day. Once he came across a hot smoldering bearing that if left would have started a fire. The blower made it start to burn better but he simply poured water in the intake of the blower and put it out. Seen several Bon Fires at the edge of a field BBQing a Combine thru the years. Protect your investment, Insurance companies will find ANYTHING to deny a claim these days.
I still want to know if it was the roller for the high-pressure fuel pump! That's what took out 4 motors in our Peterbilt's! If you own one, have it inspected before you have 12,000 hours!
I wish you would tell kenworth to replace the clutch when they replace the transmission. I have a love hate relationship with the automatic transmission hate it getting going but love it in traffic
Beautiful Country Drive Andy, thanks for taking us along.
Andy’s travel channel. A little history, a little geography and haulin’ wheat

How many #1 daughters gets a Freithliner Semi....😂❤
Thanks for the ride Andy
I've been to Lake Tahoe, CA which was nice but that little old town and lake is rather more pleasant.

"Isn't it a wonderful life , Mr. Baily ?"

I played hockey there , They used to have the twinkle race .
I hope to get up that way this year to see some of the country and maybe visit!
At the end I saw the signs for 5 and 20. I recall my dad making reference to that. He grew up in Newark, so that road was close. Google map shows you were in Senaca Falls.
That truck seems to get on quite nicely and you have some lovely scenery around you I really do want to come across to have a look around America
Hi Andy , thanks for the ride buddy
I haven't been since it was at Lott's. I loved that location.
You didn't stop at the Casino to quench your thirst??
Great road trip.

Ah. You had me.

Sir does alex know you are driving her baby? Lol
Upstate is so pretty when the sun is out
Weather looks good.

It’s nice looking country up there by Andy. Too bad the Politics in New York is crazy like Kalifornia. So much red tape and you can’t do this or that.
Many people, including me think that Empire Farm Days should never have moved away from Seneca Falls and the Lott Farm.
I like your Western Star best but that looks like a real nice truck.
Roll on Big Daddy! My uncle his CB handle was The Big Spender
Alex let you drive her truck....?!?!
They say you can close the door on a woman but you can’t close the door on a Freightliner….😂
We stayed one year at the Sherwood Inn for the Charles Dixon Christmas
Did you get much hurricane weather?
Andy D got 3 inches rain and 6-7 miles from his farm they received more than 7 inches of rain
I still want to know if it was the roller for the high-pressure fuel pump! That's what took out 4 motors in our Peterbilt's! If you own one, have it inspected before you have 12,000 hours!
Betting the Peterbuilt is now for sale.
Nice country 👍🇺🇸🇺🇸

Your pacentice is felt in every Loaf of wheat bread an glass milk
How bout it? Soon you’ll be doing tik toks with ole Charlie Trucker Come on back
Andy what was your impression of the Freightliner?
Looks like a nice town
Do you keep any wheat for next cover crop?
Yeah
Do you keep any wheat for feed or buy back ration instead
What happened to Charlotte?. Just asking.
Why did they cancel "farm days"?
Good video
Well if it were the kenworth all you gotta do is add is it fu kenworth it an every farmer is gonna say hell ya

Nice.
I wish you would tell kenworth to replace the clutch when they replace the transmission. I have a love hate relationship with the automatic transmission hate it getting going but love it in traffic

@@FarmingFixingFabricatingthey wouldn't do it under warranty which a month later the clutch went out
Andy is that equipment there is the wrong color for you you like the green paint that there's red paint
