To be honest, I don't look at it as a regular game, but rather as an incredibly powerful coding game for adults and kids. I hope this will be used in courses and schools, as it was with Mindstorms
I really do hope schools do that. Will be looking forward to Education plans and pricing. If Minecraft was able to do it, I have higher hopes in a sandbox with coding.
This reminds me a lot of TerraTech. Man brings back memories, gives me the same excitement and noy that I got from watching TerraTech updates and the trailer if not more
Would love to see some kind of story mode that is used as one big tutorial to make people interested in actually making their own creations. It’s what I hoped for from Game Builder Garage, but it never hooked you. You just made the creations they told you to and then you were thrown to be on your own. Perhaps letting the player learn interesting parts of entire builds, and teaching the player how to connect different parts to work together.
The robot that turned to a ball looks exactly like citron in pvz battle for neighborville. Also the game look so relaxing and this is the kind of game I'm looking for. Added to wishlist and can't wait
It's about time we get a new game like this. I remember watching scarp mechanics about 6 years ago and I loved it so much. Cant wait for youtubers to play this once it comes out!
As others have said, I think the most satisfying part of inventing, creation, and engineering is problem solving. It's not really fun or creative when you're given ultimate freedom because you just don't know what to do or what to solve. The reason Factorio is so time-drainingly addictive is there's ALWAYS a problem to solve and iterate on; so you have a constant stream of things to solve and keep you engaged.
Looks great. I hope there's actual built-in challenges instead of just an open world where you do whatever. The turrets shooting at those flying creatures gives me hope.
Makes me think of the old Gmod days when I still had the motivation to try and build things in it, before realising that it'll always be too jank to be worth it. So I think I'd enjoy something that looks more stable like this.
Omg this looks sensational! Hope it turns up on console sometime as I'm getting major Astroneer and no man's sky vibes. It's like Astroneer and Space engineers had a baby
I'll be honest there's been so many games like this that seeing more of em, even with visual programming tools, just doesn't seem like something I'd buy given how everytime I've been like "I hope it doesn't turn out bad/unfinished" and then it turning out bad/unfinished
Wow! just wow! For anyone who is in creative industry like I am, having an engineering/tinkering playground to chill the brain off the busy day is just wonderful. Having a VR support for it along the roadmap would be great too!
This looks great as a sandbox game, though i'd love if you also had some resource stuff. Like Factorio or satisfactory. So you have to build these robots to help you get the resources you need to craft
This looks pretty cool all things considered. The trailer makes this look like its basically gonna be Trailmakers but with a node editor. Not really my cup of tea but I can see the appeal. Nice work.
I loving the looks of this game. it gives me little big planet, satisfactory vibes. I am all for this especially with the learning to program within idea is new. :D
Very cool concept. Can't wait for its release! Kinda reminds me of a similar iPad game, Blocksworld. Its servers shut down a little while ago. Could be fun to relive those memories with this game though, lol
Hopefully they make this into a business for school education or courses etc cause I personally don't see how people are gonna play this game but for teens and kids at school they would have an interest in it.
Give this a grand goal, like in Dyson Sphere Program and it will skyrocket in popularity. If it's just another 'build machine' sandbox then I fairly certain it won't last long.
This looks absolutely fantastic, the only thing that worries me is it might be too "free". Now you all are probably already aware of this and just didn't show it here, but this sort of game needs a challenge, like places to get to (like in Kerbal Space Program) or enemies to fight/defend against (like in Factorio). The systems you showed here look great but they're a solution, the game needs a problem for them to be a solution to. Good job though, can't wait to try this.
There is some huge potential here. Give us a world that provides natural reasons for us to build and you might have a hit. At the very least, you will have my purchase. So many, (too many) other games like this one fail because there is no reason to build beyond some basic meta structures or vehicles. Years ago, building alone would have been enough for me but I've been spoiled.
This looks really, REALLY cool. Do you guys have any plans for making this multiplayer, and having the capability of combat as well?(it would be way too fun to fight my friends with these robots)
To be honest, I don't look at it as a regular game, but rather as an incredibly powerful coding game for adults and kids. I hope this will be used in courses and schools, as it was with Mindstorms
I can see it being used mainly for that reason too, which is awesome.
I agree. It's definitely marketed toward educational stuff.
Im in high school right now, they definitely wont let us use something like this. Looks to fun.
@@mechamochi9627 also in high school, not once have they used games, but I wanna learn programming so Imma give it a shot on my own :D
I really do hope schools do that. Will be looking forward to Education plans and pricing. If Minecraft was able to do it, I have higher hopes in a sandbox with coding.
Looks more like a professional engineering software than a typical videogame, and I love it.
Fascinating. The programming UI looks intriguing too.
I've tested the beta out, they say they'll include a text based programming language later.
Wow, a mix of space engineers, scrap mechanics AND visual coding! It doesn’t get much better than this!
This reminds me a lot of TerraTech. Man brings back memories, gives me the same excitement and noy that I got from watching TerraTech updates and the trailer if not more
Looking forward to this!
I watch your vids!
Dam look who it is
Damn 69 likes sheshhh
who doesnt?
The man himself has appeared
This looks sick!
If this ends up being in VR I can see this being huge!
Agreed!
@Ricx 58 but you get to build mechs in VR and that’s closest to us being like Tony Stark which is very cool
@Ricx 58 yeah I’m one of them :(
@Ricx 58 you do realise games can be both vr and non-vr
Would love to see some kind of story mode that is used as one big tutorial to make people interested in actually making their own creations. Perhaps letting the player learn interesting parts of entire builds, and teaching the player how to connect different parts to work together.
Yeah they have some builds for you to mess with in the demo world.
Trailmakers sounds for you
The second I saw this it looked so much like scrap mechanic. It's a super charming style and this seems far more.. refined? It's very promising!
The robot that turned to a ball looks exactly like citron in pvz battle for neighborville. Also the game look so relaxing and this is the kind of game I'm looking for. Added to wishlist and can't wait

If you can't think of a problem to solve with something you create, the problem is on you.
I was looking for KDE Plasma, but not disappointed
Lol
I can imagine Josh from Let's Game it Out spending a great many hours in here building something huge
I'm in love with the shaders for this game, excellent work it looks brilliant
So glad to see they're giving Banjo Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts a second try :)
Looks really sick. Reminds me a lot of terra tech but with its own twist. Very polished and interesting looking as well.
same kinda looks like it
Looks great. I hope there's actual built-in challenges instead of just an open world where you do whatever.
The turrets shooting at those flying creatures gives me hope.
Like a lot of people said, having a sort of "Story mode" in which you had an insentive to build and create would be ideal.
This game looks incredible. If I don't get the first copy that comes out, I'm getting one of the copies right after it.
I'll be rooting for this game. Please have multiplayer servers in the future!
This looks like a super advanced scap mechanic really cool
It looks like a combination of Main Assembly and Scrap Mechanic, and I absolutely love it
Main Assembly if they didn't give up development
Makes me think of the old Gmod days when I still had the motivation to try and build things in it, before realising that it'll always be too jank to be worth it. So I think I'd enjoy something that looks more stable like this.
What I wished Scrap Mechanic was this whole time. I just hope it has a good story campaign.
Omg this looks sensational! Hope it turns up on console sometime as I'm getting major Astroneer and no man's sky vibes. It's like Astroneer and Space engineers had a baby
WOW! The new Scrap Mechanic update is looking great so far!
I'll be honest there's been so many games like this that seeing more of em, even with visual programming tools, just doesn't seem like something I'd buy given how everytime I've been like "I hope it doesn't turn out bad/unfinished" and then it turning out bad/unfinished
Can't wait to see someone make some ridiculously intricate contraption to run Doom on it
Absolutely good looking game, can't wait to play chees with a giant robot hand.
To be honest i didn't know this genre existed , or even this game , but wow i'm astonished by how good it looks
Yo that art style is so cute
The potential of this game is crazy
Going to try this out at school with students! Looks great!

I can’t wait to download from
the community a pee-pee robot!
Perfect trailer. Shows off everything it needs to.
Kinda reminds me of Spore! Looking forward to this.
As an actual human, I’m so excited for other humans to learn about the intricacies of robots in a digestible for to other humans!
this looks very promising can't wait for the full release
Gives me Astroneer + Scrap Mechanic vibes. I love it!

Hey thanks youtube algorythm! made a good choice showing this in my feed.
Looking forward to the release!
This looks like everything I ever wished Scrap Mechanic was and more.
A cool thing to teach children the basics of programming and robotics!
wait wait wait, where did this come from?!?! why do I love it!?!?!
This looks awsome! Some sort of Scrap Mechanic, Astroneer combo
Looks great! Loves the smooth animations!
Looks interesting. Let's hope it comes without too many bugs.
Reminds me of two games I've been playing from time to time and enjoying: Subnautica and Slime Rancher. Anyone else agree?
WOWWW !!! LOOKS GREAT !! Keep up the good work !
This looks pretty cool all things considered. The trailer makes this look like its basically gonna be Trailmakers but with a node editor. Not really my cup of tea but I can see the appeal. Nice work.
This looks so good and too good to be true. I hope it comes out
This game has so much potential, and I am very excited to see how far it goes :) definitely going to be adding this to my steam library!
If it's not a pure sandbox with "build your own fun" then I'm definitely getting the game.
I could spend an eternity just building stuff....This looks great.
0:06 this ball is a pvz Citron and you cannot tell me otherwise
At first, it was boring, then the programming part came in and my eyes widened. I'm definitely going to follow this game's development.
looks better than main assembly
I love the artistic direction, it looks so cute !
Plasma:
I'm stronger
I'm smarter
I'm better.
I AM BETTER
I loving the looks of this game. it gives me little big planet, satisfactory vibes. I am all for this especially with the learning to program within idea is new. :D
i saw the first 10 sec of this trailer and i wanna play it as soon as possible
Well this just looks lovely
If there's resources gathering and automated production this is awesome
Looks really good.
Pls do not forget to add a goal.
This is like trailmakers on steroids!
This looks like Scrap Mechanic but more focus on robot. Definitely going on my wishlist.
oh my god it's so cool!
Plasma is like Subnautica + scrap mechanic + coding + coolness
Very cool concept. Can't wait for its release!
Kinda reminds me of a similar iPad game, Blocksworld. Its servers shut down a little while ago. Could be fun to relive those memories with this game though, lol

Rest is Peace plasma
Give this a grand goal, like in Dyson Sphere Program and it will skyrocket in popularity.
If it's just another 'build machine' sandbox then I fairly certain it won't last long.
this gives me kinda trailmakers/satisfactory met coding kinda vibes and im digging it
I'm not sure what the limitations of this game will be but if I can make my own Voltron I will buy it in a heartbeat.
this looks incredible
This gives me large terra tech vibes and i loved terra tech and have always wanted another game like it!
This is the new Scrap Mechanic, only one word: Hype
This game is amazing, why this look so good, it's epic i hope they add multiplayer
holy shit this is the game i’ve always wanted
That menu thing kinda reminds me of unreal’s node system
Anyway this looks awesome I’ll be keeping my eyes out for this game
looks pretty cool
Cant wait for this to release
feels like a better scrap mechanic
Looks so user-friendly.
No PHD just to connect some BLOCKY piston door.
This looks absolutely fantastic, the only thing that worries me is it might be too "free". This looks like a great way for kids to learn how to code.
This looks so relaxing, kind of what i need after a lot of stress with shooters
Can't wait to see someone build gundam in this game
Your already know Let’sGameItOut is going to have fun with this one
I would definitely get his if a survival mode is planned.
There is some huge potential here. Give us a world that provides natural reasons for us to build and you might have a hit. At the very least, you will have my purchase.

i might play this game only for the sound design wich is really amazing
This looks really, REALLY cool. Do you guys have any plans for making this multiplayer, and having the capability of combat as well?(it would be way too fun to fight my friends with these robots)
Reminds me of scrap mechanic! I can’t wait
That game looks awesome
cant wait for lets game it out to check it out aswell
Oo, this looks like a game i'd play for ages, Lol
This would be good as a VR game
This is incredibly promising, like astroneer crossed with space engineers
