It is crazy to listen to people justify the New Testament at least. Yes, we have over 5000 ancient documents regarding the NT, and they are all different from one another.
No one knows how many mistakes are in the texts. We do not have the originals. Christians often talk about how reliable these texts are, but they aren’t. They are no more reliable than any other ancient texts and in fact, we don’t even know how many mistakes there are. There are more mistakes in the documents of the New Testament, then there are words in the New Testament. Some say 200,000 mistakes. Some scholars say 400,000 mistakes. All the way up to 750,000 mistakes. But no one knows.
Most of the ancient documents we have (94% or so) come from 900 years later. There is hardly anything near the time of the documents, which is not unusual for ancient documents that got used to death.
There was no one watching the store and protecting the transmission of the documents. 90% of people, or so, were illiterate. So how did the documents get translated? People got someone to copy the document. How good were they? It didn’t matter. No one was watching. If your Uncle Fred could copy it, then he did.
Some major stories, like the woman caught in adultery, were not a part of the original documents. No commentary appears on this story until the 900s. It is not in our best and earliest documents. So if that story, possibly the most popular story in the history of Christianity was missing from the original text, what else was missing? We do not know. I repeat, we do not know. There is no facility except the words of dedicated believing conservative Christian scholars, to attempt to convince us.

Jesus is fully God, but limited Himself to become no more powerful than any other human. He relied on the Holy Spirit as Christians now do. He understands the Spirit perfectly, and was in perfect alignment with the Spirit. He pulls away to pray. That wasn’t solely for our example. It was because He allowed Himself to be limited, and prayed to continuously be in perfect line with His will.
You shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free.

This is one of the most peaceable conversations I have listened to in a while.
I love the way Sam has the inerlocutor read the passages out loud and repeat the important parts. It's one thing to see it, but another to say it loud and make it real for the individual.
It's a great teaching method and really helps cement concepts
In Matthew 24 :36 , it is also mentioned that as it was in the days of Noah.
Genesis 6 verse 5-13 :
This shows the time when God, the Father will choose for the second coming.
We see that when hope is lost and man in his entirety is filled with wickedness, God will show his wrath.
This is because that time is always uncertain, because man always has the ability to change for the better.
It is not a set time or hour because that will show that man is pre-destined for destruction no matter his choice.
As long as there is hope for man to find goodness and righteousness through Jesus Christ, there will be mercy, and the day will be prolonged.
God still has hope in us, when that hope is lost, the day will come, hence, Jesus knowing the day, would be a contradiction as it is Jesus who wishes to save mankind from God's wrath through his teachings.
So Jesus, by knowing the day, that knowledge, would be counterproductive to his intention.

Sam Shamoun is wrong when he says that Jesus has two natures and Jesus as human has some limitations. Totally wrong.
Jesus the incarnate word is fully divine and fully human in one nature. As human he has no limitations, he is equal with the he father and the Holy Spirit. If you say that he has limitations then automatically the father and the Holy Spirit also have limitations.
