Thank you for posting. I rarely play my VI bass owing to the sloppiness of the standard strings, they didn't make the fingerboard wide enough for them. I'm going to give baritones a try.
Thanks for the video. I am so going to do the same. I don't need VI e to e tuned anymore for the band so b to b would suit better when I play on my own. Cheers
I imagine that if they made the neck a bit wider, those strings designed for E Standard Tuning down an Octave would have more room to vibrate. They're now 24-100s
FreeTheInternets Why not use Fender's new 24-100 Gauge Bass VI Strings? Fender made some refinements to their 250B6 String set by bumping up the gauges of the 3 Bass Strings (D, A, & Low E) by a significant amount.
You could also tune E to E with Fender's new & improved 24-100 Gauge Strings

Ron Brevik baritone strings or guitar?
@@TheseBitchesWantNikes Try Fender 24-100s
FreeTheInternets Fender solved the problem of the E-E tuned Bass VI set by bumping up the gauges of the 3 Lowest Strings so it's now 24-100.
Strangely interesting music. Refreshing.

Why not try 24-100s? They're not floppy

Cool sound, man! Is length of EXL157 14-68 strings sufficient for VI?
Does the length of all of the D'addario EXL157's fit on a Bass VI?
yes
