- Today i'm going to show you how to use Google Lens on your Android phone to translate texts
First download and install Google lens.
so go to playstore and type Google lens in the search box
Then tap install.
It will take few seconds for the app to be installed.
Once installed open the app.
Now if you have a picture of the text you want to translate then select it. i have a picture in my images folder.
Next tap on translate at the bottom left side of the screen.
To translate to a different language tap on "English" and select the language from the list.
Now you can also use your camera to translate texts live, this can be useful if you are reading a book and you don't want to take a picture
for every page you want to translate.
To do this tap on the "Search with your camera" icon.
Next put the text in front of your camera.
Google Lens will translate your text live as you move between pages.

How do I turn off Google translate off of my Google lens
How do you get it to live translate like that my Lens did it when I first found out about but now when I go to the app for Translate now it just doesn't do anything when I point it at foreign words?
Try to re-install the app and try again to see if this is solved.
@@QuickTipsTo I don't have the app, it's just on the phone's home screen as part of the Google search bar. I have looked for it in Apps and it's not there so I don't know how to do that unless you just mean install the app separately from the one that already exists on the phone?
Try to search google lens app from playstore and download it.
@@QuickTipsTo Will that replace my existing app or just add a second copy of it to my phone?
It might replace it I don't know
Google lens doesn't exist
Do you have an iPhone?
