New player here. I found what works is to set a path between two narrow places where your horse can't take a wide turn. Wide turns ruin the pathing. I started from underneath the gate south of Duvencrune, set a path to halfway across the bridge to the south east, near that popular horse taming location, because that's where I was at the time. Did a few test laps and went to bed. My horse has been running without interruption all night.
What i tend to do is make a loop instead of straight line by holding alt+ rmb to mark the full loop witch works better as u not gona stuck while turning around
So I use droughts, scroll buffs, life buffs, manos crop, horse costume, aurora, teas, silver clothes, and training costume clothes. We go hard boys. So far have my m/f peggy, m/f unicorn, and working on my m/f Doom now. I just wasn't to interested in dooms but I got a shit ton of mats so might as well right. I've sold more t8 coursers than I can count.
Yo, love the content! But you set those paths inside cities/safezones or you might get murdered xD Just watch your loop 2 to 3 times to make sure you wont get stuck .
i did 6 or 7 resets my t10 for speed 163+ and accel 163+ but max what i have 160 speed base and 159 accel base. i don't know whats wrong with this horse:D
At this point skill change coupons are not going to help you. Unlike T9 horses, T8s don't have a skill like "courser spirit" that has a high chance of reappearing. Therefore you are not actually increasing the chance of getting a new skill when using a skill change coupon when the horse levels up, but in the end your horse will usually have better skills. I advice leveling up your horse to lvl 30 if you have the time. You're not risking anything besides 300mil.
This is why t8 have the biggest potential for money pit, my advice get it to lvl 30, and if dint make a courser, spend a couple of dollars in like 10 coupons and if it don't go, fucking Sell it
Pearl Abyss be like: Oh we heard your problems horse trainers...Here is a great solution: *Puts a $30 item in the pearl shop you can buy to fix issue* There are way too many "fixes" in this game to pay for its ridiculous.

I didn't know horses can go past tier 4
You forgot to mention to turn on auto consume and stock up on carrots
my horse says need proceeding skill to unlock this but i do have the skill any solution?
Are you looking at something with an S skill? (example Instant Accel and S: Instant Accel) Yeah thats like a flow into the previous skill
