Yes, we matched the paint colour perfectly (almost by chance). It looks a lot fresher. Once we can start getting the interior panels and wiring for the cameras done, the front driver area can be completed.
Hi Chris, thank you. What we did was to install the carpet with a manufactured edge along one side and the I used a razor blade knife using the gap between the hatch and the floor as a guide for the knife edge. Once we had a clean perfect cut, we used double sided carpet tape on the floor side and double sided velcro tape for the hatch. Since we dint expect to be in and out of the engine bay, we hope this will be ok. We decided not to bind the carpet as we didn’t want to have an overly visual seam.
