@@TeuluTribe You earned it. And now.... 99k Subs? Talk about drawing the big moment out, Jeez! You'll make it by next episode, I just hope I'm here to see it. And damn; 2 years already? Has the time flown for you too, or are you feeling it by now? (btw- Costa Rica was an even better place to get stuck than Panama in my day, let us know if that's still true ;) )
Pura Vida! Exciting country. I do think they keep the crime in the towns quiet from the tourists however…… Forgot to say, when the hire car company in CR, had the option of a 4x4, pick up truck, we snatched it on the day. It was the same price ! I had read the roads were pretty terrible! Felicitations from Mayflower !
When backing down a grade, try engaging your handbrake 50%, this allows all brakes to engage without the front brakes locking up. The front end will naturally lock because it’s uphill and lighter in the load.
There is something about this video's thumbnail that is just so incredibly endearing. The two of you both look wonderfully at peace and full of joy. Thanks for the great adventures!
Glad this channel popped up in my feed. La vagabond became unbearable to watch anymore and I finally unsubscribed. This channel is refreshing, simple, and real. Nice work. 👍
Becka and Zack, Amazing episode. Imagine two Brits buy a boat and two years later they are exploring the world with nearly 100K followers. Thanks for having us along. Cheers!
Ach, they are rentals. I am sure they were not quite so cavalier with their car in Wales. At least I don't recall anything from their pre-sailing days.
Great video again you guys...........i too have watched you from the beginning, and will never ever forget the expression on your face the day you received the call regarding Teule "yes well it's yours". Enjoy the journey both of you.
I just want to say how good you two are at sharing out the narrative sections of your vlogs. You both come over so well and full of interesting dialogue. I don’t know if you’ve worked at it or it’s just evolved. Whatever it is, you’ve cracked it. Well done on another fabulously, informative and most of all entertaining post. You really are a joy to watch and listen to❤
Great episode guys - wildlife great, loved the colourful little frog - those roadside fires looked scary - hope you enjoyed the tuna, what a generous fisherman
The frog was definitely the star of the show, but those roadside fires added some drama, right? And yes, kudos to the generous fisherman for the tuna treat!
Hi Becka and Zach. Thanks for the tour of the forest and the visit to the coffee and coco plantation. Loved the wildlife, especially that Golden Snake and the Poison Arrow Frog. Glad you enjoyed yourself in the Butterfly garden, Becka. Next time you hire a car Zach, make sure it's 4WD. Cheers, Russ. UK.
Zach thought he could handle any terrain with a regular car, but next time we'll make sure to go 4WD for a smoother ride. Appreciate your support, Russ!
Typing before 3:30 I have watched other sailing channels that really struggle with CR entry and exit official offices, to the point that some sailing channels just bypass CR altogether as it is cheaper to land in Nicaragua, bus south to Liberia, rent a car then travel CR. Could you let us know when you leave Costa Rica of your Gov't costs.
Thank you for another Great Video this week! It's nice watching ya'll every Monday morning out here on the lanai. Having my cup of Kona coffee ☕️! Ok until next time ⏲️, Aloha from the Big Island of Hawaii! Cheers 🍻

Hey team, I’m sure you are getting lots of tips by now. Hope you don’t mind a few more. I think it’s good practice to put your safety equipment away so it doesn’t weather when you are not sailing. Same for your sheets and any lines. Another tip is try to repair something that you think you might need to throw out. Like your fridge. If you fix it you’ve learnt some new skills. Get to know a marine electrician and or an electronics person. Buy them beers and get them on speed dial for your future. Same for a rigger, sail maker, diesel mechanic and boat builder. Using professionals will get you sailing quicker and safer sooner.
Ten hours driving ...thats tiring on those sort of roads. Well done the fires 🔥 are a problem even in the Amazon even if set to burn off scrub they quickly run out of control. BC Canada has also had major fire outbreaks again this year and thats a long way North by comparison.
Love your videos got me ready to look for a sail boat - love the way you as a couple interact and deal with everyday challenges great inspiration you too keep bloody doing it!
Thank you. Why do the sloths have such long claws and look so scary? The expression on your faces when you tried the cocoa beans was excellent. Don't think I'll bother to try one. With all those frogs, did you see anyone licking any? Someone started that somewhere and some of those frogs looked like a place to start. Beautiful pictures, epic adventures, two years down and you've only scratched the surface. Love you. Stay safe. ❤🙏
Thanks for watching and for your kind words! Sloths' long claws are actually their adaptation for climbing and hanging onto tree branches. And yes, some frogs are indeed used for medicinal purposes but we didn't see anyone licking them 😂 Cheers Steve!
That's hillarious when you said "rain is the best I never thought being British I would say that" :)). I have to say I am south american but I am learning about central america through you guys :). Maybe one day I will cruise down there thanks for sharing.

Boat life bureaucracy; always interesting, never simple 😉 did you think there were that many steps to checking into a country by boat?
The cacao bean faces 😂😂 just watching I think I know how it tasted
Go back to when they bought the boat a couple of years ago and follow. Enjoy
