    Very piece of terrain and I will be definitely getting some in the future. The modularity is what sold me on them.

    what a great idea and concept. I model in 1:20.3 but we don't have any laser cutters doing anything even resembling this!

    At first it seemed rather ordinary, but then you fit them all together and that's when it became impressive. Definitely the strongest aspect of these pieces.

    These are really amazing! Now I want a Lasercutter for myself to build stuff like this in 1:72nd scale.
    The modularity is a real nice feature though (at least the way it is done here) there is one downside to it: The Edges can't be textured to resemble brickwork or anything like that. All you can do to keep the modularity functional is painting the edges in a thin coat so that everything still fits together nice and smooth.
    It can't be that hard do make the modular edges in a brick-work-style instead of unnatural smooth curves. It would look much more realistic like that.
    Other than that - I like where this is going ^^

    Card fascias would allow them to print the outer cladding, saving the builder a job, Iuse home-made printed wrappers on scratch builds and they work for me

    Very cool.. I am just starting to look at this type of thing.. I started looking at foam and working with it.. I must admit I am finding it a little overwhelming.. lol But I do have some paints and styofoam and a couple cutting tools and I have made a couple of small things but I think the MDF kits will have to wait... Just starting to looklol Cool video though and I do like them for sure.... Thanks for sharing.. :)

    Those are some nice buildings. This isn't terrain related per say but would it be possible to do a video on the carrying bags with the foam trays for the miniatures we use, mainly 28mm bolt action sized. I've been looking into buying a bag and can only find like 3 companies that make wargaming carrying bags and they are pricey and was just wondering if there are other companies out there and if there are cheaper ones.

    Hi Mel, great fan of the channel thanks for all the really helpful tips! I'm starting work on a wargaming table for 1/72/20mm and accidentally bought some 28mm houses from 4Ground, their 28mm range is far more expansive unfortunately. How bad do you reckon the scale difference is? I've assembled one and it doesn't seem too bad, and once the figures are based etc it shouldn't look too disproportionate no?

    • @TheTerrainTutor
      @TheTerrainTutor  6 років тому +1

      It should be fine, only the doors are to scale ;-)

  • @sabrekai8706
    @sabrekai8706 3 роки тому +1

    Nice kits but I'm confused. I build 35th scale tanks and 32nd scale aircraft. A 35th scale person stands about 48-52mm high. which is about right. I'm 1.88meters tall, that works out to 53mm. So... how do they figure these are 28mm? The doors look to be about 2.5-3.0 inches in height which is large for even 32nd scale. Love the buildings they make, give me lots of ideas for dioramas but the seem way out of scale for what I want to use them for.

    Or the 4 storey building is in 2 parts so you can move your figures round on the bottom floor without squishing your fingers through the doors and windows..

    • @TheTerrainTutor
