I think the gate got ultra nerfed in 5.5 cause it was one of the more broken builds in the regular version the ult made u have your army times 2 in one click
As usual, every time someone tries to fix what wasn't broken, they end up balancing the fun out of the game. And lo and behold, gating is boring and underwhelming in this mod. Not even talking about the skill wheel. I wish they just added QoL as a separate patch for the people who don't want to play this H5 WoG.
Issue in 5.5 with gating is that in order to nerf gatting build you would need to buff basic units. Yet they simply just nerfed gatting and didnt really buff base units
@@dindi6986 Ok, but the question is why nerfing it at all? Who benefits from this? Who ever asked for this?
I understand the general appeal of semi-WoGifying the game just to bring some fresh take to it, but why nerfing? It's not CS, it's not esports, so all the nerf does is removing fun. Why? For what purpose? To what end?

@@dindi6986 I don't think so, I believe that every faction has OP mechanic to play with and through this OP-"ness" comes all the fun. I hate to quote a youtuber, but it's legit literally "your bullshit strategy beating your opponent's bullshit strategy". That's where the fun if born -- within this "bullshit". And reducing it to some normalized equilibrium removes all the fun of, for instance, leveling your character so that it can instantly open the gates to hell, or so that you are always lucky and hit 3 demon units with the power of Implosion, or to have 6k damage spells, or to have more Cavaliers than your opponent has lvl 4 units.
I see no profit in trying to remove this.

Good lord i was so sad when you didnt make a separate save file for this mission. When you were loading over and over I was like "stop.. please stop.. oh god noo i beg you dont do that pleeeaseee..." XD
Also Godrick is so fast because you gave him logistics last mission of the Isabel campaign

Agrael speciality is adding initiative for his units. So as campaign goes your units will move 2-3 times more as enemy do

Pit Fiends are quite great here ! In H6 its even tier 7 even more stronger! Though Heroes 6 campaigns are really great too and harder even on normal or hard diff. even the 2 map of tutorial is harder than you think its a short story! More similar to Heroes 4 style of campaigns, Heroes VII campaigns are not bad but so powerful also , Heroes 7.5 mod skirmish and multiplayer with Radmin VPN and lan mode its great though 13 factions with each 11 type of creatures you can build max 8 of them, there are spell scrolls, secret abilities for 2 units per faction you choose there. Bosses are in the multi and single games! Also better random maps. 26-28 heroes per factions! And all factions from H1-2-3-4-5-6-7 is here! Even Forge as a ligh version Xel! And you can hit enemies side or back for bonus damage in H7 original too its a good idea! Same H3-H5 units sometimes and factions are in it and same skill wheel system H5.5 mod stole the skill wheel from H7 i think. Also the bigger battlefields. H7 is the direct prequel of Heroes 5 and H6 is the prequel for both :) officially in lore and story.

How movement works in h5? And do you know how much you have or you don't lol
Of course you know. Each hero has a green bar depicting their movement points, and a blue one for mana. I also think v5.5 allows for more movement per hero than vanilla, which is ideal for these kinds of (very limited) linear pathing systems. H3 maps usually permitted far more open-ended pathing due to it being top down or essentially "overhead".

01:11:00 - lol, the voice acting of this game is so good and clean. They really put a lot of effort there, making one of the best storylines from the entire franchise. Your previous argument in that regard is just blunt. No offence, but you don't seem to have the ability to value properly the art of work.
