The younger generations, those born in the mid-90s or the start of the 2000s are more obese every single year, especially in the US. More than half of America's youngest adults - 56 percent of those ages 18 to 25 - are overweight or obese, according to Johns Hopkins research, published in JAMA. It's bad.

I know right I’m obese and I hate it. There’s just too much junk food these days and it’s so easy to get it. I feel like it’s a lot easier to get junk food than healthy food

@@lewdogzombies It's not too late to start choosing your fitness goals and stick to it. Rooting for you! Don't be fooled by the temptations of junk food, rather, treat them like a little reward for what you can accomplish in one week! It's called sometimes food for a reason, so keep the junk foods highly inaccessible to you by putting it in a place where it takes effort to reach for them as the human craving will only want convenience. Talk to someone who you can work out together or join a fitness group that shares similar fitness goals as yours! It is unfortunate that healthier options are generally more expensive, but the rewards of cooking in the kitchen will thank your body in the long run. You're a champ for recognizing that your bodily health is becoming an issue, so now apply the next step!
Easily my favorite part of this is Rachel's embarassed little "I'm not allowed to talk to Ralph" which makes sense if you remember how she kind of helped spread that rumor of him and Phoebe making out once that turned out to be untrue just makes total sense no one would allow Rachel to directly talk to him and again I love the bits that focus on one character but you can still have one of the others be thrown shade on or throw shade on themselves.

It’s so funny that these shoes are actually pretty normal by todays standards. Now we have those red Astro boots and calling sneakers kicks is normal and there was a whole season where kids and adults wore wheeled sneakers 😂

We had some weird version of them in the 90s before this, but they weren't roller blades and they weren't called heelies. They had 4 wheels you could pop out manually like skates, but they were awful. Actually I remember then being a bit of a death trap cos the wheels would lock if the surface wasn't totally smooth

yes, you're correct it was. Kicks, pumps and creps lol we called sneakers - trainers, which is what we Brits call most shoes that aren't suit/dress/school shoes.
When I was growing up in the early 90s, my sisters and I called them kicks or pumps mostly. Even though creps was apparently a popular British term, I never heard anyone use it.
