IMO, Moerman rubbers are shit. I'm very upset that I've paid well over a $100 for this thing and the bloody thing leaves streaks. What a load of bulltish!?
That's so funny, the same exact thing happened with me!! Right out of the box, it was leaving lines. I put the Ettore rubber in and now it is my favorite squeegee. It's amazing. Cool to hear someone else had the same story

I was struggling with the same thing over the last month and so switched out the rubber this morning to a hard rubber (I've got buckets of the stuff and have never used it). Holy co*#@. By the end of the day I was taking selfies with the liquidator and tonight she'll be sleeping under my pillow. Thanks for the tip. Seriously, as awesome tool!
Hey dude do you live in a hot climate? Mine wont work with hard rubber that well but works amazing with the soft rubber. I think its got something to do with temperature
Nicholas Evans yes normally, but I believe it was feb cold when I used it for the first time. Either way, moerman rubber is notoriously bad. Good luck fam.
Man...I feel the same. Been using for 10 months now. It's ALL I USE! But...I do use the Moerman rubber still. Maybe I'll slap in some hard Ettore and see what happens!
That tool looks stunning! I do have 2 pivot control( 18, 12, 6 OG) handles fitted w/ Ettore channels (Ettore blades is all I use). The angle is about 15 degrees in the handle, good for deep sill. They all wearing a flipper pad. good info squeegee man.
Same here. The moerman rubber is terrible. Been using the liquidator for about a year now with the ettore rubber and its worked perfect. You'd think moerman would address the rubber issue as they would make good money on blades and it would save cutting blades.
I totally agree the soft rubber turns and flicks out at the ends too , I swapped mine to hard rubber and it’s far better ( maybe it’s my technique but instantly hard rubbers better for me) great video I was doubting myself good to know I’m not on my own !👍
Everybody seems to. Its unfortunate because It gets in your head when you have a piece of equipment that wont perform like you need it to. You stop taking it up the ladder as much, and for a piece of equip thats so expensive, that shouldnt be the case.
Daniel why straighten the clips? We tested them for ages to get them at the right angle to not ride up even on the thinnest seals To straighten them defeats the purpose of them Use the right technique and you will have no problems

The rubber you use is all to do with temperature. If it's hot then use hard rubber. If it's cold then use soft.

Wow, I never use the rubber that comes with any new squeegee. They are usually trash. I'm ordering this thing right now.

Is your rubber slipping out of the channel at mine did to on a job held me up 30 min pissed me off 😡 Having to use unger green clips hold them Inn😡👎👎👎
Im currently using ettore hard, and Its working great.
Happened to me yesterday....guess it's time to buy another rubber and the Unger clips.

I use ettore soft and green unger clips works a treat also heat the blue clips and make them straight with the channel👍👍👍👍
I agree Daniel. But bottom line, you shouldn't have to heat or touch anything with a $60 squeegee.
