  • Hello everyone and welcome back to So What If I Sew! This week I bring you a seasonally appropriate sew-a-long for the very cosy True Bias Marlo Sweater made in super-soft black waffle stretch knit from my local fabric shop A&M Textiles. I made the short version in a US size 4 but be aware when you are picking your size (and your fabric!) that each bracket has plenty of ease. You can use stretch or non-stretch fabrics for this one as long as you use a stretch fabric for the binding.
As I sewed the majority of this garment on my overlocker I have also included a proper section on how I thread and set up my overlocker as I know that is something lots of you are interested in.

I want one now . I must say I have just made the Hudson pants and found the instructions very difficult at times . Tamlyns tutorial got me through it though. So u have definitely helped me when I make it . Thank you . It looks lovely on you .

Love the Sweater and this is one of my upcoming projects so thanks for making this sew along. I see that I will have the same button hole problem ! I have used a black permanent marker on interfacing that shows, not sure if that would help

Thank you! I used maybe 1m or 1.5m? And the buttons were about an inch and a half across
