- First run of a very trigger heavy mission. This is easily the most complicated mission I have done yet. Lot's of moving parts.
It was fun though.

CPU and RAM handle more than half of this simulation, of course you need a graphics card, it will have a nice atmosphere.
Damn nice! Do you play VR too? I've got almost exactly the same rig + HOTAS (though I have an RX 6900 XTXH and non-3D 5800X) and VR is perfectly doable for me.
Thanks!
I do own an Oculus Rift, but I have not used it since they made Meta a requirement to use the hardware. I love VR, but I refuse the buy into it again until we get a proper open source HMD.
@@namactual6992 Ahh alright, thanks for the response
Do you share your mission? Great video by the way.
Thanks man!
I am just experimenting and learning what works and doesn't in the editor at the moment. The end goal is to make some real missions I can share though. I need to dive into the scripting portion next. I think I am seeing the end of what can be done using the mission editor alone.
Most of these missions would not work playing blind. If you do not know where the trigger zones are they just break down. It makes it hard to play something like this when it breaks if you land in the wrong area. I also have to fake a lot of other things.
In this particular case, I had to make the SA2's a neutral unit or the ground troops would just stop and shoot at them as soon as they disembark. As a result they would not move on through the way points. I made sure I could fly this route with live SA2's before I added the troops, but I had to keep myself honest and stay low as if they were live once I added the troops.
Do you use reshade? I feel like my DCS doesn't look as good as yours lol
I do use ReShade. I need to do a video on the settings I use as there is a lot there and it is always changing.
The always on shaders are AMD Sharpening, FXAA and TAA. The rest have been all over the place. I am endless tweaking it.
