Thanks for confirming that you polished the bezel on the Stowa. I thought it looked like it had been polished.

I polished the whole case and was surprised how much I like it, I may re brush at a latter date but for now it will remain in it’s polished state

Laco all day everyday. Very underrated watches and for the money you just can't go wrong. Have 5 in my collection. IWC way over priced.

Totally agree that IWC is way overpriced. I really like both the Laco and Stowa very much

The Laco is cool but the sandblasted finish gives it a plasticky, toyish look. Prefer the Stowa.

The nice thing about the mat blasted finish it holds up against scratches remarkably well 😊

The best, imo is the cheapest one with decent finishing. The watches are so plain by nature that paying for an iwc seems so silly. Unless i have ducktails, money, I'm of the belief iwc is far overrated.

I 100% agree with you, kinda silly to spend around $5000 for what is basically a glorified tool watch. I picked up my Laco and Stowa used for around $800 Canadian which in my opinion is a solid deal considering the quality and history. Stienhart Nav B Uhr is also very good but lacks the history.

The Stowa was too normal looking. I like the Laco better. It looks steampunk.

Both have their charm and enjoy both equally. The Laco is much more military looking then the Stowa that’s for sure.
