Draconian is without a doubt the best doom metal band out there. They are amazing. You HAVE to react to “Death come near me”, you will both be completely floored. I can guarantee you that. It’s a legendary masterpiece. It’s a MUST-watch!

You need to listen to some newer Draconian too. "Pale Torture Blue", Sorrow of Sophia, and Claw Marks on the Throne are all great songs.

Great reaction, good on you for giving something different a go. Plenty of great bands in the Gothic/Doom vein. Have a listen to Swallow the Sun, Trees of Eternity (with the fantastic late Aleah Stanbridge), Woods of Ypres then there are the OG Type O Negative and for something more Atmospheric/Cinematic Kauan with their masterpiece Sorni Nai.
My Dying Bride is also a great band to check out.
First time I see someone mentioning Kauan in a tier-list!
