Edd and Ana, I've followed your channel for a while now and would like to make a suggestion for next year. While I love to watch renovations, it is a very common theme among the chateau channels. One thing that differentiates you from the others that I follow are the weddings. I'm sure you've considered this before, but I would love to see your channel focus on weddings (all of the prep required behind the scenes) instead of finding renovations to film. It wouldn't have to be the full weddings themselves. I'm sure that this would require that you hire a videographer/editor, since you would be so busy with the weddings. Furthermore, we'd get to see Ana more in front of the camera! Not sure how your other followers would feel about it. Just a thought.
Glue and clamp the broken piece. Which glue will depend on how well all the pieces fit together. If they don't fit well, use an epoxy, otherwise a wood glue. Be sure to clamp well in both directions. If the broken piece is punky, cut t out and replace it with a similar wood. The repair will be invisible and strong. This s the process used for furniture restoration.
Love the door, especially the fancy metal that has been beautifully restored. As far as the door color, my choice is the blue of your house numbers background, it pops with such beauty, and being the house is on the corner of the intersection it will stand out proudly and dignified within the neighborhood and community!
