He's like a quarterback on the basketball court with some of these passes. Absolute spacial genius.
I really want him to face SDSU with another shorter PG. Would be great TV.
yeah hes soooo talented spacially 😝
this has to be one of the greatest individual performance in the NCAA tournament ever....seriously......this guy contributed 58 of his teams points.........outstanding!
It was actually 63 points, which was also a NCAA tournament record, some of the assists contributed to three pointers.
@@kyezek524 Ah.....good call....I forgot about the 3 pointers! My bad, but wow, what a performance not just individually, but making the entire team better...I would love to see the TEAM win it all!!!!
Those were some sick clips too those weren’t just your normal assists
Bro is never lookin. Crazy
I agree. And to do that in your hometown & at Madison Square Garden is amazing
Yes that boy can pass that wrong
All the passes were sensational too! That lob while he was arguing with the coach on the play is crazy.
That was planned. The "arguing" was pretend and meant to loosen up the defense. It worked beautifully.
@@pixelfire86 if that was intentional it’s definitely a super smart play
@@pixelfire86 I was just coming to say, was that by design?!
He was actually telling legend isiah Thomas who is in the crowd watch this
Makes the play even better that he told a pg HOF rooting against him to watch This!!!
These passes by Nowell were simply incredible!
Markquis Nowell is a beast played through an injury and still balled out just absolutely insane 💯
Stands at 5ft8, but he plays like the biggest man on court. Setting up his teammates, dictating the tempo of the game, hustling for every loose ball, gets bumped a lot on defense but never backs down--- this really IS the definition of heart over height
Michigan State just didn't have an answer for Nowell this game. Honestly, some of these I'm not sure how you defend, but every time they left a guy open Nowell found them. It's so hard to defend against a guy with that type of vision and playmaking/passing ability playing this well.
I love watching Nowell play, man. He is such a fun player to watch, and this Kansas State team just is as a whole. Can I also mention how happy I am for Keyontae Johnson, after his collapse 2 years back at Florida? He deserves this too. Can't wait for KSU-FAU.
me too
A nba team will defintly take a chance on him. Chances are slim but I think he can make a roster 🙏🏾 Rooting for him 🗽
I’m hoping too. It’s refreshing to see a good facilitator. Especially with a the shooting going on.
He remind me of a better passing Carsen Edwards
@@TheJokeJokerfacts! That guy was something in the march madness but 🗑️ in nba. I hope nowell will have the chance
Facts he’ll make alotttt of money playing pro tho
with the new rules he can definitely play in the league
Loved this game , being a fan of neither team, just fun to watch. Don't see many high scoring NCAA games.
It seems like EVERY GUARD in COLLEGE and the PROS are score first combo guards that wanna show their bag. THIS guy is refreshing to watch because he breaks guys down off of the dribble with the intent to set up his teammate’s. When you have the gift of being able to break someone down off of the dribble, that too creates the threat to be able to score and get to the line, so scoring becomes easy for a guy like him. It reminds me of the likes of Ed Cota, Kenny Satterfield, Khalid El Amin, etc. His stock is most definitely rising extraordinarily so.
Also as a teammate, when you have a guy that is a WILLING passer, you cut to the basket with more enthusiasm and that also affects how hard you play on the other end also, which is why I’m not shocked by their success in this tournament. These guys are LIVE WIRES.
Hoping he gets at least a two way contact from the nba or a high level overseas league his playmaking iq is amazing especially for his size
Will definitely play in the summer league
could definitely see him having a long career as a facilitator in a european league
Probably won’t will be a liability defensively in the league…g-league possibly but Forsure oversea’s (which is still great)
He can play for a long time. Even if not the nba. Man I wish he somehow had a late growth spurt because he’d be so cold in the NBA
@@TreyLopez482Trae Young is a liability
Markquis Nowell is the Goat 😤 Im hoping he doesn’t go undrafted just because of his size, people who play with heart deserve a spot on the team and a place in the league, hoping an Nba team can notice that in him
I agree. He played out of his mind in his hometown. And it was at Madison Square Garden! The Nets & the Knicks should be looking at him
THAT BOY PUTTING ON FOR HARLEM !!!!!! LETS GO K STATE !!!!!!!
Back in the years you just would say: "He got game!". Biggest respect you can pay to a player.
4:02 Not sure if Nowell arguing with Tang was part of this play design, but if it was, that’s genius.
Part of the play 100%
That man is a play maker
The fact that he got he was being unselfish all game and still scored 20 points is insane
19 is crazy
What’s so impressive about Nowell & this K-St squad is how in sync they all are. The timing is incredible their never NOT prepared for his bullet passes or alley-oops
I was in the building and that was one the most electric performances and basketball games I’ve ever seen.
I’ve been to a ton of big Knicks games (90’s playoffs, Jordan’s double nickel) Big East finals (Ray Allen v Iverson) and that was right up there with any of them.
As Clyde would say, Nowell was “swishing and dishing” and had his “head up, and eyes wide open” all night. Unreal. What a show!
All around guard plays with great vision and tenacity...hes knows how to read the defense, they have team chemistry also.
We have seen a magician at work. A true masterpiece created by the smallest guy on the floor!
We happy to welcome him in Canada
Nowell 19 assist? wow unbelievable
I haven’t watched the NCAA tournament since Jimmer Fredette was playing. This man has made me a fan again. A joy to watch
This dude is having an OUTSTANDING March Madness.
This was a legendary performance!
At the 4:00 min mark I love how him n his coach have that trust and understand
He gone be something great mark my words 🗽
Now that's a highlight reel
Man this kid is special. Love his game, would love to see him in the league someday
He was BALLIN tonight!
Amazing. Heart over height indeed. Keep it up Nowell. I hope you make it to the NBA
Literally am rooting for this team they're a sensation
The kid sliced 'em & diced 'em....MSU's front line gave him a lot of help by playing in a fog with all the back-door buckets.
My first time watching him. He's so fun to watch!
He can definitely hang in the NBA. It all depends on what team drafts him. I’ve seen too many little guards that were great in college get misused in the league
no no no not in nba too small
@@gfl4696 Nate Robinson, Isaiah Thomas, Spud Web, Mugsy bogues....

This is looking like one of the all time tournament performances from Nowell… right up there with what Curry did with Davidson!
Insane!
He went crazy!! Gg
Im glad he ls getting recognition he deserves
❤ Wow..for the last second shot!🎉
Feels like kemba walker championship run
man I was thinking the same thing
Feels more like a NC state type of team.
Heart over Height!!
He also had an amazing behind-the-back pass that ended up as a missed dunk. If the guy would have put that in, that would be in here too.
Nowell's passing is so amazing. Congrats on the new tournament assist record.
Great addition to the raptors. This guy will follow Fred vanvleet’s footsteps
I watched this with tears of joy. This is basketball
Epic level performance
Legendary game he went crazy
To throw a lob from half court in overtime when tied is wild.
He going crazy
Nowell bringing the narravtive of a pure pointguard back to life.......im old school i really aint a fan of position less basketball....although i do respect and understand the evolution of each postion...but too me a 5,4,3,2,1...will always be jus that
Everybody talking about Miller but nowell is nba ready. You can tell the game slowed down for him by how fast his decisions and the vision is
Nowell is a dangerous dangerous baller.
Nowell doesn't even *need* to hit threes. Defense can't stop him from facilitating the offense and hitting assists. Crazy thing is that he can shoot really well too.
What we see in this Video of Noelle is GREATNESS!! Incredible Next Level Talent!!
I'm not even a minute into this video and I'm calling it right now. This killa will be pointgaurd#1 in thr NBA
The lil GOAT!
Despite his size I wanna se him in the NBA his court vision is NBA level
Aye this man been killing the books right now easy money 💰 but I remember seeing him workin out everyday wit Delson training he came a long way he always played wit a chip on his shoulder he going to the league
Markquis Nowell is gonna be a special player for the Toronto Raptors. He's going to amaze a lot of fans - myself included, and he will cause many of us to forget about VanVleet. A true point guard with amazing passing skills and heart.
wow, very good game
Nowel looking like Nate "Tiny" Archibald out there. And what an overall Classic Ole Skool Game by Both Teams.
Great year for K-State sports!
Reminds me of cp3 and lonzo. This is my second time watching bro play and I’m convinced he’s him
Game of his life!!! He might not have the size for the next level but he most def have the iq for it
3:49 straight out of space jam
“Special delivery!!”
Exciting
He is him himmothy himmy neutron 🐐🗽
True passing wizard
Dude’s like a steve nash to amare connection with johnson. To have that kind of confidence just standing 5’7! Geez!!
Straight Big Dawg
This guys vision is better than Fred’s crazy, either that or the schemings were just spot on perfect and credit to the coaches
He should be in the NBA.
legacy game on another level
Unreal
Definitely reminded me of Muggsy...👍🏀💯❤️
One of the finest performances in an NCAA game I've seen since Randolph Childress in the 1995 ACC tournament. The garden was going bonkers
He only thing I didn’t like were those three pointers from the logo in bad situations , other than that
This was one of then best performances by a point guard in ncaab
Check out the highlights of the K-State-Texas game in Austin. He hit those all night long and scored 36 points.
Impressive
Would love to see him in The League with those passes.
MARKQUIS NOWELL#1 .. POINT GOD ..
He reminds me of Ed Cota of North Carolina or Steve Nash.Great passer
Bro real fans know him as jelly fam 🔥🔥
This performance will go down in NCAA tournament history, Dude is gonna be a baller on the next level. Second-coming of Tiny Archibald, I hope Da Bulls get him.
Mr new York city a monster
Man, I wish this game could've happened later in the tournament. Same with UCLA - Zags. imagine if those would've been Final Four games
That was the greatest performance since Burke 2013 vs Kansas. Norwell cooked a masterpiece and he had a bum ankle in the second half.
Way to be a playmaker since Nijel went to Miami!
No Fear!!!Boi a Big Dawg!! 😆
Some of this passes were just ballsy
Muggsy Bogues, Spud Webb, Keith Jennings, Markquis Nowell???
After 1:43 I knew buddy was on a mission to close this out
Playing help defense on a 5'8 guy leaving people open to hit is terrible coaching 😂😂😂
3:49 man Never done before
Pro game! Remind me of Damien Stoudemire
Nice
POINT GOD 👀
He don’t get in the league I’m blaming the scouts😭
