Nasrallah was 14 stories UNDERGROUND! In a carefully orchestrated bombing pattern, in a 3 minute time interval, ten F16s, each with eight 1-ton smart bombs, whether all or fewer being bunker busters the question. The bunker busters' penetration depth is 30 feet per bomb. Israeli intelligence had the location and depths for all bolt holes in all directions from the bunker that crossed under streets to different safe areas under other buildings. The first bombs were targeting these. Nasrallah didn't get the benefit of not knowing what hit him. He definitely had at least a minute or more awaiting the outcome, time enough to hope for escape, and experience despair, regret, his personal terrors. Nasrallah could exit the bunker into a hall but the bolt hole tunnels were collapsed, no escape. Essentially, Nasrallah was like a WW2 submarine captain, his crew and him being depth charged, explosions getting closer and closer until a fatal one. Their terror had be real.
I'd had no idea how this was done until I came across your explanation. It was a mystery to me because the bits & pieces of news did reveal he was underground and I'm sure he was positive he was so safe this must have been quite a shock to a very arrogant, self -diluted man.

Three different sources follow the same tracks, some minor variations in details. For example, one source said "about 85 bombs" were used but didn't say how many F-16s. Otherwise, the themes were consistent. Two reports specifically said 10 F16s, 8 bombs on each, one saying they were all bunker busters, the other said "including" bunker busters. That said, I also wouldn't bet my dog's life on the information I gathered. I would my neighbor's dog.

These they do being fundamentalists and driven by the sacred texts. Muslims should not interpret the Quran literally. It was only written that way to inspire the old Muslims to fight their enemies, but not applicable in the modern secular laws or today. If Christians do the same in interpreting the killings of Abraham and Moses against the pagans, then it would be a cruel world. Even the way we interpret sacred texts must evolve from being Authoritarian to Contextual Ethics.
