Agree all....I am a child who grew up with alternate radio 4zzz in Brisbane. Flying Nun records equalled anything our lads could produce in Oz. As Tasimana said: the Chills, Bats, Verlains...and Chris Knox (NZ 's God)...SUPERB

Errrrr... no. Someone flicked a switch and unleashed Bic Runga. Dave Dobbyn went all weird and became the darling of hold music. Flying Nun turned into a Lead Balloon which had me in tears of despair. There are a few 'independent' labels but they seem devoted to *gag* Hip-Hop and the like. I have heard rumours that there may be one small ray of hope. Sorry to be the bringer of bad news.
Man, I wish UA-cam had better resolution when they recompress the videos I post. The DVD version of this video literally put me into a trance!
