If amiga was running before, making it run again is easy... inspect pcb or broken traces... even if the case is broken it could had survive... please remove chips and put them again... allthough if an amiga 1200... there are not that many chips that you can do that... only the rom, at least with my version broken amiga :D find solder cracks... I bought an broken amiga to do an re-amiga. ;) eventually it will run... for sure.
yea i just saw it too - SO ANNOYING MAN - disgraceful packing - sadly all to common - iv a friend who bought a camera (a vintage one) - arrived wrappen in light card paper - so to save a few pence in postage the seller ended up destroying a little piece of history :(
