This is the "solo version" from the Open Season album. If memory serves me right the version on that album was a live in-studio track recorded for BBC or something.... Anyways, the version on that album is really quite nice, a bit less elaborate than this, and a touch more driving. The lyrics are also a bit different. It's on UA-cam, worth the listen if you liked this performance.

I do enjoy her cover, on her album...but this is almost unreconizable and really sounds like an animal crying in pain. It's not clever or interpretantional. Now...it's pretentious to even THINK that.
