The scriptwriter for this series seems to have been somebody very inexperienced and you can sense that a lot when you read the original stories. Yet he or she was a million times more faithful to the original stories than the joker who "manufactured" the scripts for the recent Byomkesh movies in bengali.

Major issue i have is ki " do log nahin", teen log the. Innocent bache ko to obviously marna galat hi tha, par ladki ka crime bhi maarne wala nahin tha. Seems byomkesh missed that part.
She was pretty, stylish and sophisticated according to the book, the type of woman who would have an extramarital affair right under her husband's nose and get away with it. Unfortunately the casting wasnt proper. This lady looked and acted more like a plain old housewife.

Thats the way this tv script was written. But not according to the book. Byomkesh was both sharp as a tack and also extremely sensitive to the slightest of human emotions. Thats what made him a great detective. The scriptwriter for this series was not very good.

My god Byomkesh was some insensitive guy, three person got killed (one man, one women and one unborn child) and what he cares about is food.
