I can 💯 percent vouch on the quality of the seeds, i ordered some seeds a few months ago and have now got beautiful healthy plants, perfect for the Australian climate
Keep up the good work! Im goin on my 16th year of recovery. No relapse praise God! Im waitng for my seeds from yall to sprout! One of my favorite garden quotes is "To plant a garden is to belive in the future!" God bless and happy growin
@@smokinedddie thanks! I feel so old saying that while only being 35 but not as old as i do telling people iv had to have a total right hip replacement when i was 22 . Have a blessed day😁🌶🌋
I bought some seeds. Excited to grow some reapers and some other good ones. Gonna make alot of hot sauces and powder! Thank you Ed for being you! Wish you a merry christmas and a happy new year 🤙🏻🤘🏻
I notice a lot of people coping with recovery through spicy food. For me its the same. Ive always loved spicy food, but i noticed once i went into recovery, i ramped up consumption. I eat habanero pods all the time. Love this video
Ed, i really enjoy corresponding with you and the crew!!! Xoxoxoxoxo...I talk to Dark n Bella quite often too...Xoxoxoxoxo I would love to see your other videos as well!!! Keep em coming!!!!!
I want some! 2 seasons ago, we had over 100 peppers from 1 reaper plant, last season not 1 but the scotch bonnets did well.. I hear it’s because we had hot nights Greetings from Fayettenam Norf Cack
I just recently planted your pucker But Carolina Reaper seeds. I'm about a week n a half into germination. I've grown hot pepper several times and I'm really looking forward to this crop. I appreciate your time you have dedicated into the pepper plants.
I saw on the Puckerbutt website that 20% of purchase on you products between now and Feb 24th is going to help a member of the Puckerbutt family who is having medical problems. Such an awesome gesture. Go order some great items from Puckerbutt and help out a family that is struggling.
Thanks for sharing your videos. For several years I've grown habaneros that I dry, then grind to use for my diy deer repellent. I soak the habanero powder in water then strain it into my garden sprayer to treat my vegetable plants and landscape plants. It is very effective. For the first time this year I'm growing Carolina Reaper peppers that I plan to use in place of the habaneros. After watching a few UA-cam Reaper challenge videos, I'm a bit nervous about using the Reapers. I'm hoping you might offer any advise or cautions about handling, grinding and using Carolina Reapers as I've described. Your comments and advice will be much appreciated. Thank you.😊
When are you going to release the pepper x seeds. I want to get some as soon as you doo. If you can cross-pollinate the 7 pot Primo with a pot plant and create a weed pepper that would be incredible
Mr. Currie the reaper is my favourite pepper to grow here in Jamaica. I am a young backyard farmer trying it out. My mom doesn't use it but i use it in my spicy fried chicken. I hope to send you some samples from my farm one day
God bless you all. you are not a recovering addict. you are a born-again believer and you now hold the power of the holy spirit. and that makes you free. you are no longer a slave to anything. and now remember the bible says you are what you say you are. so never say you are in recovery you have already recovered. as a sinner we used to be you used to have addictions, you are free my brother be free. you are also so blessed
I did not explore the website beyond searching for stuff to buy... thank you so much Bella, Ed and the rest of the team. I'm heading there now to look into grow tips. And lol... I asked my boss "what can I do to get fired?"... he said "nothing" which is hilarious!
Need to look at your seed varieties! Just planted 72....hoping a few come up since all over 3-4 years old....interesting one is the peach ghost that (only 4 seeds)....not as hot as your peach that was mentioned....would like to grow a scorpion or reaper or chocolate again...or ever a Fatallia...not as hot but super flavorful
Didnt know you were an addict in recovery as well. Growing stupid hot peppers is what i want to get into instead of growing pot. Stay safe all love brother 💕
Ed, you serve the God of your understanding every second of every day by growing your beautiful plants. Thank you so much for all you've done for the pepper community. Got 5 reapers up right now. Can't wait to propagate! Let the love spread!
I just bought some chocolate bhutlahs and organic Carolina reapers seeds from your site 3 weeks ago. Now I'm about to have to go buy more varieties lol.
Can't wait for the planting series. If you could, help us understand how you combat bugs! Specifically, those little white bumps that have a little black bugs underneath. They have been invading my peppers and the insecticidal soap isn't helping. Help!
Yes! Please post your daily thoughts via video here! Can’t wait for my seeds to get here! My slow smoked reaper pods from last year are just as amazing today as they were the day I picked them back in October. Please keep up all the badass work y’all are doing :-)
It's so awesome seeing all of the different varieties you grow, and what the favorites are among those who truly know their peppers! Thanks so much for another awesome video! I am growing some peppers at home I have some seedlings and am wondering where to get some of your seed packets, i did the paper towel method to get the seeds to germinate and the information i got was to put the seed in the dark and it seemed to work a little hit and miss some of the seeds that i put in the zip locks molded, i think they had too much water in them. love your videos and am wondering where to buy your seed packets??
I will eat any one of those peppers no problem, but I will never just chow down on whole pods. My interests are in making sauces and recipes that makes food better, not giving myself an upset stomach. This was strange timing I was just transplanting my ghost peppers and scorpions into bigger pots a 1/2 hour ago. Haven't tried one of your reapers yet but I will.
@@smokinedddie I have bought the Reapers ,of coarse from you...the organic ones too...and some organic Chocolate Bhutlas as well... Ok I will wait with the rest of the pepper heads around the world for you to release the pepper X...
I've planted many of your seeds! Some take a long time to germinate, and some don't germinate very well, but the ones that do are very very cool! A couple questions: what is too hot and too cold for germination? Why do you suggest scarifying seeds for only 30 minutes? and would you ever suggest transitioning to clear packages that can be resealed? (Opening Pucker Butt Seed packs are a PAIN! especially if you're trying to preserve the label. ) All the love, I love Pucker Butt, and I LOVE your peppers!!! Edit: Seeds I've tried: Organic Carolina Reaper, White Bhut Jolokia, (Germinates well!) Red Jelly Bean, Peach Carolina, Black Bhutlah, Kil Biber, Orange Thai SSE (Not so well), and Chocolate Cherry, Brown Moruga, Thai Cluster (Medium Success)
Hey cousin Ed, could you please shed some light on why in the last 2 years jalapeños have been very mild? I’m in NY near Syracuse and got them from multiple places and different brands (I think). Also, do you have a certain size sample when tasting? I really would like to hear what you have to say
Jalapeños have always been pretty mild in terms of heat. Or more like a mild to medium, but if its super mild tasting it may be due to the fertilizer your using is too high in nitrogen. You would want something lower in Nitrogen, but higher is Phosphorus, and potassium 2nd reason could be they are not getting stressed enough. You could cut down on the watering. When jalapeños are stressed the capsaicin increases so you get some hotter peppers.
Hell yeah... that's my hero... I'm fighting my addiction by keeping my mind off drugs with growing peppers like you ed
Would be great to see inspirational messages here too. I try to stay away from Facebook as much as possible.
I'm going to go with the expert and try the chocolate bonnet.
