This life, with all its fleeting pleasures, is filled with misery. True peace can only be found when you open your heart to Christ and accept Him as your Savior. Until then, as you continue to avoid your connection with God, you will drift through life, caught between brief moments of joy, attachments, sorrows, dreams, and ultimately, a sense of meaninglessness. It is only after you have endured the suffering brought on by your own ego that it will break, leading you to the feet of the Lord Jesus Christ, who waits patiently to offer you true and lasting peace.
