@@timstegall7226 Well GPS isn’t 100% accurate. And as someone who works in the automotive industry I can tell you the specs are wrong. Caps are put into literature (manuals, tech specs etc.) typically as guidelines and sometimes that is just where they stopped testing at that time. And or they tested and wrote the spec to reach the minimum acceptance criteria. Minimum Criteria for a race bike on a track &/or that could be the maximum top speed allowed in the country it was manufactured. Maybe they couldn’t legally sell a motorcycle that goes 200mph. If you intentionally don’t put/push/test it to +200mph or +321.87kph and beyond then you aren’t required to post the results of your test. You catch my drift? If your product has to stay within a certain range of performance standards to be sold legally and on mass market levels internationally then maybe you only test your product to 180-185 mph so that you can actually sell your product.

That bike will maybe do 180mph on its best day. The speedo may have said that, but independent testing with GPS verified the true speed.
