Rocha fights a smart, measured fight and is able to explode in the right moment. Skrivers is a different fighter at this point. Very talented guy with some of the best grappling in the league, but when you look at his fights against Assis or Tebuev, where he was practically marching guys down with a high guard and smothering them in the pocket ... that's a very clear change in style. I wonder if his KO loss to Rocha influenced that. If so, he's certainly smart not wanting to get KOd like that again, the brawler style definitely isn't conductive to his long term health. But as a result, he's walking a very fine line in terms of rules with the takedown-heavy game, but appears sort of timid in the standup. He's in a weird spot right now.
Skirivers Won I'm Brazilian but Luiz Rocha lose he can't defend the Takedown, I'm happy they allow grappling this will make Modern Karatecas evolve their grappling skills.

Skrivers easily has the best ground game in KC, combined with his high level karate striking, i think he could have a shot at bantamweight for UFC belt
After watching fight for multiple times I still don’t understand how Skrivers didn’t win this fight?! I hope he will transition to UFC to finally prove that he is the best all around fighter
This fight has to be re-evaluate because the judge's decision was incorrect and not fair. Skrivers really won this fight. Would love to see him also compete in UFC.
Because they are Karate practitioners and this is a Karate league. Furthermore, what we see in this fight is not so different from what we can find in other full contact karate competitions, for example, Irikumi, a full contact ruleset of okinawan goju-ryu: ua-cam.com/video/j0CmZtfCslo/v-deo.htmlsi=Hu5Bmn4BqtAxBNv5 Or Shinken Shobu, an alternative Kyokushin ruleset that allows for face punches, throwns, takedowns and even submissions: ua-cam.com/video/tcujphaZA9U/v-deo.htmlsi=6pAF5ZPG-CP7K35n This is waht Karate look like in actual fights, he never look like things like kata or kihon, regardless of the style or rules.
No way he won that.Skivers took him down literally 5 times in one round. He averaged 3 take downs the last three rounds. Absolutely smoked that guy and he could barely get off the mat in round 5. All Skrivers 3 -2.
No bro. As Karate Combat Rules, Judges evaluate the round score of EFFECTIVE STRIKING FIRST, EFFECTIVE TAKEDOWN SECONDS, control of the Pit fighting area and the last is effective aggressiveness. By these standards, Skrivers has most takedowns, but he loses by Striking, Controlling the fighting area and aggressive. And in this case, Skrivers is a Challenger. That’s why if he wants to win he have to dominate the fight TOTALLY (this is the Rule of Thump).
@@ducbeo7170 Nah man, Doesn't matter. He won. He easily won the last three rounds. The guy was getting cracked and very very clearly was waning as the fight went along. If you take guy down literally 5 times in one round the other guys isn't beating you on the feet....because...hes on the ground...lol..tell me you are a casual without telling me you are a casual...lol

Great fight
Shahzaib vs roucha I'm very excited ❤❤
Same
Skrivers need to go to MMA. He only takedown and go to ground and pound, this is not Karate. Rocha 100% more a karate fighter than him

What
They should remove takedowns from this. The rules don't jiive with them...
The veiwers make the rules. Go vote
I don’t understand how this is Karate between the kick boxing and take downs 🤦🏽♂️
