  • Caleb Williams is the only rookie QB that has been set up for success in this way...i break it down in this video.
From the Bears; Off season moves, Draft process, previous season success all form a perfect storm that can allow Caleb Williams to have one of the greatest rookie seasons ever.

Williams hasn't played in the NFL yet right? So _ALL_ of our presumptions are based on his college footage.
So it should be impossible to find any footage of any other QB that is better, correct? After all, he isn't "better than some other QBs." According to what we're hearing.
According to what we're being told, he Is Generational. Ergo no one, especially no one recent should have better footage in college.
How come the other QB in ua-cam.com/video/5JO1PsupF_U/v-deo.html is a better rusher & _FAR_ more accurate passer while being able to do Every Single Thing Caleb does?
Yeah, his situation seems great until you realize that two of the receivers were on a team with Justin Herbert & under-performed. Moore has only had worse QBs & succeeded *despite* terrible play-calling. So he might be if anything under-rated.
But as I implied in my other reply on this page, play-calling is a _HUGE_ factor. I can show you a video of how Kellen Moore neutered Herbert & caused Dak to lead the NFL in INTs despite missing 5 games in '22. But Williams is going to the _Bears_ a team that turned a Superior QB To Him into a bust.
    This could get interesting.

I don't think it matters. Either play-calling matters or Andy Reid could be replaced by Adam Gase. It matters a ton & I find it extremely suspicious how much Bears fans refuse to discuss it. I can't possibly be the only person who noticed that the 3-week streak in '22 where they led the Entire League in offense used completely different plays as did the 5-week streak in '23 where they almost swept the Lions. & that they stopped using those effective plays.
      Twice.
Since no OC could "sneak past" or override their HC to cancel those plays, doing so had to be *Eberflus'* decision & the plays used were Getsy's, the ones that halved their offensive production Eberflus'. This is supported by the 3-week streak coming right on the heels of Fields calling out "his play-callers" publicly, another thing You The Fans seem intent on pretending you didn't notice.
It gets better. The great QB play from the Seahawks in '22 followed Canales to the Bucs & with Bobo & JSN _added to_ an already top-10 passing game Waldron somehow did worse with more. Now he's the guy who has less to work with in CHI assuming Eberflus lets him call plays.
With Getsy, Fields made *the **_Bears_* the #1 offense in the NFL. Over Allen. Over Tyreek Hill & Patrick Mahomes, over Joe Burrow's élite WR _trio_ he made this team the #1 offense with Chase Claypool & Darnell Mooney.
With Eberflus they still scored less with the surging Kmet & D.J. Moore, with Waldron, doubling the receivers produced less scoring too.
      This should be fun.
