if you guys take a random clip of you guys can sometimes see that when its at normal speed it looks like one flick, but if you slow the video you can see him micro adjusting
When I was actually good at FPS games I always did an overflick past the person, and then a second flick back in the other direction onto their head. Or in other words I would flick right a little past the person, and then flick left back onto their head. Similar to what TenZ is doing, but ever so slightly slower.
Ya'll watched the vid right? At around 0:56 you can see his hand move on each of the 2 axes with separate moves. First he moves the y-axis (pitch) then in a separate move the x-axis (yaw). When he speeds it up it the movements become less robotic and less angularly(?) restricted, but the basis remains the same, step 1: y-axis, step 2: x-axis. It's very different from flicking towards the general vicinity of the target and then doing a micro adjustment.
its the difference between a macro and micro flick where in the first flick he gets in the general direction of the enemy and on the second flick he uses precision and knowledge from the first flick to accurately hit the head.
i see many people explaining it well here but for some reason nobody can see the obvious i guess. the first flick is with his arm and is used to cover the longer distance the mouse has to travel because the target is further away on the screen. the second one is done by his wrist and the beginning of that adjustment is optional and may or may not overlap with the first flick (can begin right before the first flick ends)
I wasn't aware of any other way to aim lol. Most of the time if I need to do a flick, I have to flick to their general direction and adjust to their head. Some times I can just do one flick but only if I am able to accurately determine the enemy's exact position from my peripheral vision alone. And for that they would also have to not move from the time I see them to the time I shoot
Strangely enough this is what I thought of yesterday and was going to add it into my aiming system but instead decided to do something else which if I continue to do it may become top level aiming :D
Yes, I also flick in the X and Y axis separately. All of my flicks are right angles, you just can't see it because of my speed. I purposely don't use diagonal lines when I flick. TenZ is actually kinda slow. I think he just has better game sense, when it comes to pure aim I think I'm slightly better. He just has better teammates to help carry him.

This is basic sniper essentials fr. The scoped sensitivity speed is always slower, that’s why staying hardscoped while trying to flick to a target will get you killed most of the time.
