Thank you! I really enjoy working on setups in NR2003 because there are very specific and subtle changes you can make to the car, but there are also some simple and really easily felt things you can do to get some speed.
Thanks for the help! Was wondering why I could never turn near the end of my races at all! Kept thinking it was my controller but nope, just the RF losing that much wear
problem i have with the car is when in a corner it always just wants to turn around, i go slower than i should be going and still back tires slide up, any tips with that?
It is hard to put together a setup that handles well at those speeds. It is very easy to go from understeer to snap oversteer when changing the setup. One thing I can suggest with confidence is that you want to make sure your car is not bottoming out in the turns (you will hear a grinding noise) by raising the ride height a tiny bit. On certain tracks like Coca-Cola Superspeedway I recommend a tiny lift off of the throttle on corner entry to get the nose to turn a bit better.
@@simracingmiscellaneous6287 Thank you! I haven't tired Tally and Coca-Cola yet, maybe the feeling is better. At Daytona, biggest issues are about turn 4, very tough (and also "tight"). I'll try your adjustments
What should I do if my car scrapes on the pavement on corner entry? I kept spinning out on turn in and I noticed sparks were coming from under my car. What would I adjust for that?
Not sure if you still need help on this but if you're bottoming out the increase the springs on all four corners. I usually go up one click on each until it stops.
I'm no expert at setups, but that should be the ride height. Lower ride height is better (I think), but you should keep making it taller until it stops scraping the pavement.
Nice video! I have always been interested in setups. I'll be sure to come back to this video next time I make a setup.

Is there a website that I can go to to download car setups for each track that I go to? Thank you so much
I tweak my setup from the default "Fast" setups that come with most tracks. However, here is a huge database of setups: noiseracing.com/setups2/
I don't know which tracks you go to, but www.tapatalk.com/groups/deltaracing/nr2003-setups-t3998.html has a collection for many tracks.
You don't race the road courses?
Interesting video. Where do I have to focus my attention for avoiding the typical understeering effect of superspeedways without restrictor plates?

@@ratedr6035 I really didn't know this, thanks for the advice. I have tracks where the car will bottom out most of the time.

@@tuftyterror983 You'd have to decrease the Drag settings in the track INI.
