    Those original infinity pickups sound so muddy so i have to get rid of those. In this video i will chancge those pickups to old Ibanez V1 & V2 pickups. At the end of the video is sound comparison test between these two pair of pickups. Plugin in test with distortion and clean sounds. Also amplifier sound test with distortion. Hope you enjoy!

    Personally i thought the original pick ups sounded great.

    I think the difference is quite small, an eq before the signal gets into the distortion effect can close the gap.

    Hi; for the reviews that i´ve seen in the past about the RG/S 421 models the Infinity and the Quantum are made by Dimarzio. Probably these are also made by them too, I guess, for Ibanez had a tradition of using Dimarzio on the guitars.

      @sykko.exit2348 3 роки тому +4

      No, they're not. They are self-branded pickups (by Ibanez) and are made in various factories across Asia (currently mostly in China and Indonesia). They have nothing to do with Dimarzios. They didn't even lie next to them ;-).

      @@InstrumentsForEmotions Don't get me wrong. I'm not saying they're bad. I have 4 Ibanez' guitars and 2 of them are GIOs with similar INFs. There are no bad pickups. Sometimes adjusting your EQ a little bit makes a huge difference. Even if they are "muddy" at the first glance.

    I put a set of the Hipshot locking tuners that don't need screws then a Tone Zone and Air Norton I had planned to put in something else. I loved the neck on this guitar so much I spent almost as much on the mods as the guitar but it's fantastic. I like the V1 and V2 better but the TZ/AR combo in the poplar body truly sound amazing, if you consider buying some I would highly recommend them!

      Air norton and tone zone are so good PUs...ive had those PUs in S470 that i dont no longer have. I've should have taken PUs off before i sold that guitar. Maybe someday i will buy those and test those on this guitar..thanks for the advice🤘

      Hi I want to change my Tuners for locking tuners on this Guitar can you tell what you purchased ? And did you have to get Left handed tuner's 6 inline , or do Right handed 6 inline work ?? I cannot find the answer to this for some reason ?? HELP please !!!!!!

      @@DeadShred9 Apparently you can't link directly to Amazon in a reply I bought the Hipshot Grip-Lock 6 inline Non-Staggered Locking Tuners - Black. Should come with a plate so you don't need to worry about the screws if I remember correctly.

    Need help with choosing a Guitar
    Hi, I have been looking for the best possible guitar I can get under 26k. I’m not looking for. Flyod Rose or a tremolo system as I have found that at this range the guitars don’t hold their tuning very well.
    I have shortlisted Ibanez GIO grgr131ex which is available for ₹24,800 and Schecter SGR Avenger which is for ₹25,598.
    I have heard a lot of reviews on UA-cam for grgr131ex and I like that it has 5 way switch which can bring in versatility to my production and the SGR has 3 way Switches. grgr131ex has Infinity R picks (2 Humbuckers) and SGR has Diamond Plus pick ups. I have not been able to find much about SGR. Can you please help me pick the best possible electric guitar? This is going to be my first electric guitar and I need your help to make the right decision. Thanks in advance :)

    @Skywalker5150 Рік тому

    Hello , thank you for the content .. when you rewired your guitar if you look at the 5 way switch 1 side is bridge and other side is neck, for connection you have white which is hot then it says bridge and tap which is red and then bare which is ground so with a dimarzio pickup which uses same color code as Ibanez so hot would be white, bridge /tap would be red and ground bare , but I'm still remaining green and black so I'm assuming green will go with bare at ground but what about the black wire where does it go ? would appreciate your help thank you !

    • @InstrumentsForEmotions
      @InstrumentsForEmotions  Рік тому

      I don't know what kind of pickup configuration you are trying to make but colors are in dimarzios: Red north coil start, Black north coil finish, Green south coil start and White south coil finish. If you want those coils in series you put White and Black together and Red is hot and Green is ground. Bare wire always ground.
