I love Dollar Tree DIYS. When I walk around dollar tree and I find something from a video, it’s like finding treasure. I LOVE it. I have been able to make incredible gifts for people who never have a clue that it was created with dollar tree products.
I definitely prefer the dollar tree. I really love watching dollar tree projects . I can watch them for hours LOL
My favorite videos are trash to treasure or upcycled items. I love to see things repurposed. I have been a thrift shopper for years, and turned many pieces into functional, new looking furniture. While I also like the DT item crafts, the items are not always available at my store. (Or they aren’t something I really need, or my decor style.) Watching gives me lots of inspiration and fuels my creativity. So keep on doing what you like to do! 😊

I don't have a Dollar Tree but I love DT diys. There are so many great ideas, that I can sometimes recreate with Walmart things. But upcyled diys makes it harder to find the items. Hearing your grandma's glue gun story warmed my heart. I inherited her glue gun, and there was nothing more awesome than to craft with it.

Keep up the awesome work sweetie. I have been doing Dollar tree 🌳 Diy's for as long as I can remember but I just don't make videos well yet Idk I'm thinking about it. Like you it's out of my comfort zone. But to answer your question I love seeing Dollar tree 🌳 DIY'S it really gives me inspiration especially when talented people like you are doing them. I love both! Dollar Tree DIY’s are like a scavenger hunt at times and that can be fun. Trash to treasure videos are great too because it’s fun to watch things being made out of things that would otherwise end up in a landfill and who doesn’t want to preserve the planet?
My favorite is the trash to treasure upcycling videos. Dollar Tree DIYs are also awesome. I love the challenge to find the "just right" material to complete the project.
I absolutely LOVE Dollar Tree craft ideas!! I’ve made so many inexpensive crafts, I especially loved making pillows using the rugs!! I love watching organizational videos using Dollar Tree items!! Cricut hacks using Dollar Tree items is a lifesaver!!!

Oh Man, How can I pick?? My family are major thrifters!! I believe that 85 to 90% of my wardrobe is thrifted clothes!! That is the place we shop most! Now the Dollar Tree was the place I shopped often when I loved in Michigan. I so miss the Dollar Tree stores!! Hawaii does not have Dollar Tree or dollar store for that matter at all!! I have enjoyed watching Dollar store DIY's during this time to see the new items they carry now. It has also helped me to be creative in what I can find here on Hawaii Island to make goodies that I see here! Thank you!
I love Dollar Tree DIY'S. Sometimes I have to think outside the box as the supplies are not always available but that keeps me thinking instead of just copying.
The Dollar Tree store cards are Hallmark card. I remember their old commercial "If you care enough to send the very best send Hallmark."" I love the Dollar Tree for DIY's because you can make some great items with minimum expense, and they can look high end if you are careful and not sloppy. I love their wood pieces like Boxes and crates and houses.
I like diys period. It does not matter whether it is trash to treasure, DT, upcycles. When I see a diy, I first look at what I have on hand. Sometimes after seeing a DT diy, I will use something from my recycling bin.

I LOVE the hunt of going to DT & trying to find the items you used to make different projects then trying to recreate them as close to yours as I can, while putting my own touches to them, so I have to say DT crafts!!

Great tip for cutting vinyl with the paper cutter in the beginning of your video. I struggle with cutting straight lines, especially on vinyl! I am definitely gonna have to invest in a paper cutter!
As for your question, I love both DT DIY'S and trash to treasure. However, if I'm watching a video with the intention of recreating something, I find it's usually easier to recreate a DT item vs trash to treasure. Where I live, we only have 1 thrift store and not a lot of "good stuff" in that store. So, I would have to say DT videos are best for the purpose of recreating.

The trash to treasure crafts are interesting but I can never find the same or even similar items and I usually don't even bother watching them. Definitely my favorite is Dollar Tree (with some Hobby Lobby, Walmart items thrown in for good measure) DIYs. If I can ever spend the money on one, I really think it will be the Cricut Joy. I love making cards, especially Christmas cards.
