All I can say about the image is that although they are Greek Hoplites and not Celtic, I like it in the song and the image because it fit to our mysterious imagination of the Celtic Tribes. Since they did not wrote their history-which makes us rely on Greeks and their enemies the Romans, making them unreliable-we are not very sure about Celtic ancient history. Maybe they were barbarians like what the Romans said. Maybe they are advance-since they invented iron tools and most of them were wealthy. Or maybe they are as very advanced with technology. Who knows, maybe the Celts were equally or more advance than the Romans (at the time). We are not sure and I am not saying that this is true. All I can say is since there is no Celtic records of themselves in ancient history, and the foreign sources like the Romans are unreliable because they are enemies and might tell propaganda. But because of the mystery, it would be fun to imagine.
