I believe this video is made before ramadhan (fasting month). Now is ramadhan month. Be strong both of you in hardworking. I pray from Malaysia for your success in blacksmithing. Good job!
Water quench is even harder, usually quenched in oil. Edge quench is better then quenching the whole knife. You've done a lot of them in the water, slowly & a little at a time. Great work!
Many respect to you and your craftmaship your work is breath taking, but i must say i am profesional cook and i work 20 years and i am from serbia,i never saw this kind of knife in my life.
It's a long story. "Almazan Kitchen" uses such a handcrafted knife in their wilderness cooking videos. The amazing knife ended up being marketed by the channel, and later by some copycats who refuted claims that they copied Almazan by saying, "The knife is an old traditional Serbian chef's knife"... [Birth of a legend]
After putting in oil, didn't you need to put it for some time on 200 degrees Celsius? I'm not blacksmith but i saw it meny times in knife making videos.
Beautiful creation . Cambodia is a long way from Serbia, how do you find the designs for the foriegn style knives and swords you make ? They are as close to the real thing that l can see .
WHY NOT USE AN OIL AND WAX MIXTURE TO COAT THE WOOD HANDLES? WE USED BEESWAX AND OIL TO SATURATE THE WOOD WITH SLOW HEAT ONCE OR TWICE FOR IT TO PENETRATE THE WOODS.........
I am from Serbia but this is not our traditional knife .Reason it is called Serbian chef knife is that this knife became famous when AlmazanKitchen show it in their video and they are from Serbia.
This blacksmith is awesome. Love how he forges knives from thick or round steels.
Blacksmith is a Master and has a good partner ! Cambodia is a Nice country !

Ово је нешто слично јапанској сатари, само што ова има заобљен крај. Као што видиш на крају видеа не секу са овим кости, него рибу.
