- i'm back with part 2 of my little series of semester at sea story time videos! i'll be telling you all about how i completely embarrassed myself on embarkation day approximately 2 minutes of being on the ship LOL. how i made friends in the first week and how i got involved in the music club!
for those of you that don't know, Semester at Sea is a program that provides (mostly) college students the chance to earn up to 15 units of credit while they travel to about 11 countries in just less than 4 months on a ship call the MV World Odyssey. It is essentially the real version of The Suite Life on Deck.

I'm also an introvert and not great with travel so if I were to ever do SAS it would definitely be a struggle.

did you know anyone from the uk and did you know what uni they went to? i pick my uni soon and i need to make sure whichever one i go to does sas or i might end up moving to the us which isn’t really easy seeing the current situation aha

I have a really dumb question lol but do you think I'll have trouble making friends being brazilian? My english is good but not excellent. I'm still trying tho...
not at all! i had all kind of international friends on the ship :) although it is mostly american students, everyone is very welcoming so that shouldn’t be a problem!

anyone can apply! there were definitely a good amount of international students on the ship including my roommate!
