I actually got this game as part of a Metroidvania bundle, but I've been avoiding it due to the obvious Dark Souls influence. Basically, I'm watching to see if I should bother playing it myself, and because I like you.

Ray not gonna lie. I got super excited when I saw this video. Love this freaking game. And I love your reactions to the grotesque body horror this game shows.
It wasn't even "sexualized". I would classify them as "art". YT's really just throwing darts at the board and seeing what they land on at this point lol
youtube really needs to revise that rule. it would be better if youtube had a nudity rule like twitch where you could have nudity in the game just not have it be the center like those adult games
I laughed when Ray got to the 3 hanging lights in the Echos of Salt and was like "This has got to be something!" Imagine the feeling we had before that door to the DLC area was open haha I've never felt like I was missing something so hard
This and Bloodstained are the two best Metroidvania's I've played in the past 5 years. Absolutely amazing experience. I wish Ray was playing it on his main and to 1000 pts

To answer Glasses’ question again, my favorite game with a Souls aesthetic is Dead Cells, and my favorite soulslike is either Remnant or Fallen Order, since they’re the only games that I’ve played in that genre.
Gonna repost my comment from the last time before this was taken down, but i hope ray plays Bloodborne. He said he was interested in it but didnt wanna play it due to the FPS. PLEASE GIVE US BLOODBORNE ON PC OR A REMASTER

Also, for when you keep playing: doing a parry & counter and pressing the attack button just as the counterstrike lands slightly buffs the damage and greatly increases the chance that the enemy is set up for an execution. It took me forever to figure that out, because the game hints at it in the parry codex entry and leaves it at that. There's also an achievement attached to this feature.
