To be Frank this is great! Love that dark electro vibe. How do you find the 707 with the Deluge - I imagine there is a fair bit of crossover with those two, which do you use for what?
Hello mate, glad you liked it 👍🏼 Hmmm, a comparison?! Well Ive only had the Deluge a week and this is the first thing that Ive done with it, so its probably a bit early to big it up too much. So far though it's clearly got a better sequencer, its so simple to use and carry out edits on. Not decided on the sound engine yet, but hopefully over the next few weeks I'll have had a good delve into that!. As for this track, almost all of it was the deluge, the growling bass came from the 707 and the weird noise I was playing on the keys came from the Peak.
Hello! I really like what i hear. How did you connect everything? I have a similar setup and I've been struggling to find a way to connect everything in a way that suits me best. I'm also quite new to Deluge. Thanks!
Thanks man, glad you liked it😁. Connections huh, well, its all basically MIDI, but you probably guessed that anyway! It hard describe it without a diagram , but my MC 707 is the master clock in the set up, thats sending a MIDI out signal to a MIDI splitter which then goes to each synth. The key board is connected directly to the MC 707 and I can then use that to play live - it passes the MIDI information from the keyboard out to the MIDI splitter. In this video I was playing a patch on the Novation Peak with the keyboard and the MC 707 was just playing a bass line, everything else you hear was coming from the Deluge. Hopefully that helps you a bit, if not let me know and Ill se if I can explain a bit better 👍🏼
Really enjoying this mood!
Ha, who doesn't like a bit of moody electro 😁. Thanks for leaving comment, much appreciated 👍🏼
Very soundtracky, enjoyed this.
Cheers dude, glad you liked it! Did you find it on HWJ or on youtube?
the struggle is real... real good!
Thanks Kain, glad you liked it 👍🏼😁
The struggle succeeded. Nice one man!
Thanks Mark, glad you liked it! Did you notice that the drums are only playing on one side and the bass on the other? I said it was a struggle! 😂
@@2bfrnk They do but it doesn't matter, great work!
This rocks! 😊👍
Thanks dude 😁🔊
Great electro beat! Love it 👏
Hey, thanks for the comment! Did you find it on facebook or through youtube?
@@2bfrnk on the HWJ UA-cam stream through
Excellent work, very sweet jam!
Thanks for the comment, glad you liked it 😁. Where did you find it, on facebook or through youtube?
I actually have a Summit and once in a while I just check what people do on YT with their Peak or Summit, which are basically the same machines.
Nice, the summit looks good, if I had space I would have got one. I’m playing a patch on peak using the keyboard in this video 👍
That was really tight man! Digging what you did with the vocal chops on the right side here 🖤🙏
Thank Atlas, kudos for listening for more than a minute! 😂 👍. Did you find it on Facebook or just through UA-cam?
@@2bfrnk I was going through the challenge thread on Facebook :) - Of course man! Takes me always 3 days to be able to catch up with everyone xD
Tuuuuuuuune!
Thanks mate!! 🔊😁
