i think like 300-500 trained people, with lots of dedication and practice, could animate this in real time manually, analog style. there are limitless methods, but i could imagine just a crowd of people holding a cardboard square with white on one side and black on the other, and memorizing the precise timings on when to flip their square. I would love to see this. time to step it up touhou fans

Touhou Project 3: Lotus Land Story stage 3 theme to be exact. Most of the Touhou remixes do not use the name of the original theme, but have it in the description which makes it easy to check whether it is touhou or not. Edit: Touhou 4, Touhou 3 is the phantasmagoria of dim dream.

If you were to freeze the sheep in place and spread them out evenly, you could use this as a proper monitor. Being able to do it with the sheep moving is a lot more technically impressive though!
I mean, this way he only needs to address sheep based on a coordinate offset rather than setting each and every one of them to be individually adressable, I think this is the easier version honestly. Still awesome tho

If it isn't a kids' game, Mojang would have probably accidentally ruined the game some updates ago and made it really bad. if you look at the video when he moves, you can already see that it is sped up. If the script engine cant handle this in realtime, you think it can handle the full thing? he did it with a plugin that just recolours all the sheep in an area and then wrote a program to convert the mp4 to the data he needs to feed to the plugin

After staring at that single second for a couple of minutes straight, I figured it out. He used grey sheep for about a frame or two to get a motion blur instead of pure black or white sheep. That is some insane dedication.

@@thechosenone5421 It is a kids' game. Its just played by a lot of people of all ages because it's a good game. If it isn't a kids' game, Mojang would have probably accidentally ruined the game some updates ago and made it really bad. Mojang's main focus in their community is the younglings, which is why they don't add things like sharks and jellyfish into the game because they don't want to encourage them to interact with those.
At this point this song is like doom 1. You can play it on basically anything

This is amazing, but what I want to know is how bro got the blur effect from Youmu's sword spin to actually be there at about 1:05. It might just be my brain filling in the original animation, but I swear it is there. Either way, this is truly impressive!
Edit: Good Lord, it _is_ there. After staring at that single second for a couple of minutes straight, I figured it out. He used grey sheep for about a frame or two to get a motion blur instead of pure black or white sheep. That is some insane dedication.
