i think like 300-500 trained people, with lots of dedication and practice, could animate this in real time manually, analog style. there are limitless methods, but i could imagine just a crowd of people holding a cardboard square with white on one side and black on the other, and memorizing the precise timings on when to flip their square. I would love to see this. time to step it up touhou fans

If you were to freeze the sheep in place and spread them out evenly, you could use this as a proper monitor. Being able to do it with the sheep moving is a lot more technically impressive though!
I mean, this way he only needs to address sheep based on a coordinate offset rather than setting each and every one of them to be individually adressable, I think this is the easier version honestly. Still awesome tho
he did it with a plugin that just recolours all the sheep in an area and then wrote a program to convert the mp4 to the data he needs to feed to the plugin

When I saw that smear frames were made with grey sheep, I could physically feel the pain you had to go through get all this detail just right.

@@thechosenone5421 It is a kids' game. Its just played by a lot of people of all ages because it's a good game. If it isn't a kids' game, Mojang would have probably accidentally ruined the game some updates ago and made it really bad. Mojang's main focus in their community is the younglings, which is why they don't add things like sharks and jellyfish into the game because they don't want to encourage them to interact with those.
